Chapter 2

Xander's POV
A year ago after we found out Emma was pregnant.
Emma has just told me she was pregnant but I knew she knew that loved her and the baby. No I didn't wanna leave her while she was pregnant but I had to leave my girlfriend and baby because my dad got a new job in Maine.
A year later
I missed Emma and the twins so much that it hurt that I wasn't there for Emma during her pregnancy.

In New York
Emma's POV
I walk into Ravi's room with the girls and say, "Jessie, I have a huge problem. I love my photography class!" I did love it but there was a problem. "Okay, I know I'm new at this whole nanny thing, but not seeing the problem." She says as she could not see no problem anywhere. "The problem is I got the world's most laziest partner for this assignment." I said as I knew I meant my annoying brother. Luke enters the room and I get disgusted. The girls look away form their uncle. "You call it lazy, I call it selective participation." He said as he holds up the camera. "Now, Jessie, give me... pouty nanny." He said as he takes a picture of Jessie with confused face. "Okay, that was more like constipated nanny, but I can touch it up. I can't believe I can get school credit for taking pictures of cute girls." He said as I literally stared at him. "The assignment is to take pictures of New York's flora and fauna." I said as I looked at him. Jessie wanted to take Mr.Kipling for a walk and I knew he couldn't.
"If Mrs. Chesterfield sees him, she'll throw a hissy fit." I said as Destiny and Lydia nodded their head. "Yeah, she's the head of the condo board." Luke said as my girls stood there. "And a real pain in the ashram." Ravi said as we all agreed. "Oh, is she that annoying lady downstairs who's always carrying that homely baby?" Jessie said as the girls looked at each other. "It's a dog." Luke said because Jessie thought it was a human baby like the twins.
"You're telling me. Someone whomped that child with the ugly stick." She said looking confused about it. "He means it's a Chihuahua." I said as Destiny looks at me than back at Lydia.
"It's Chi-hideous. Look, Ravi, I'm not gonna let some old grouch to keep you from walking your pet. We'll just ask Tony to make sure the coast is clear." Jessie said as we all knew it was a bad idea. We decided to got to Central Park. The girls I had to bring with because I'm not leaving my babies with Bertram because we won't watch them but if I bring them to the park they can play on the playground and if anyone tries to get in their way they have their aunt Zuri there to defend them. When we came with Kipling we went fast. "All, right! Let's go! Come on, come on, come on. Move it, move it, move it! Go, go, go! Come on! All right. You have this and you have your camera." She said as she looked at me who was pushing a stroller with two girls in it. "Yeah." I said as I got the girls and the stroller in the elevator. Mr. Kipling slaps Jessie with his tail. "Whoa! Keep your tail to yourself." She said as I heard Lydia giggle. "Yeah. She's mine." Luke said as he looked down at the lizard. "No,I'm not. All my boyfriends have to be at least 18. And human." She said as looked at both Luke and Mr.Kipling. "So Luke, you're oh for two!" I said as the girls giggled at what their mommy said to their uncle Luke. Zuri comes out of the elevator and all of us are coughing and Luke is grinning. "Luke, You couldn't hold it till we got outside?" I said as I came out with the stroller.
"Hey, it wasn't me. It was Mr. Kipling!" He said as he pointed to Kipling. "Oh, sure. Blame the lizard." Ravi said even he knew it wasn't Kipling. "Oh come on Luke even two babies knew it was you." I said as I pushed the stroller outside.

At Central Park
"Jessie, thank you so much for bringing Mr. Kipling to park. Look how happy he is." My brother said as he looked at his lizard. "Ever noticed how his happy face and his "I'm gonna eat you" face are really similar?" She said as she looked at the lizard. "Ooh! Ha! Cockroach." Luke says as he snaps picture of a cockroach and shows it to me. "Luke, help me or I'll tell Jessie that you still sleep with Kenny the Koala." I said trying to get him do the work and not slack off. "Kenny just likes to hang out on my bed. Don't turn it into something ugly." He said as I shove the camera at him. "Okay, okay. Oh, man! No way!" He said as looked so shocked. "What?" I said as I looked confused. "I can see right into Bertram's room. Oh, he's shaving his own back." He said as I made a disgusted face. "Ew." I said as I still made a disgusted face. "I wanna look away, but I can't! Oh, good. A giant bird just blocked my view." He said as I knew what he was talking about. "What? Let me see." I said as snatched the camera from Luke. "I think that giant bird is Hudson Valley hawk! This book says they're incredibly rare." I said as I looked at the book. "Not as rare as a guy shaving his back with a razor duct-taped to a spatula!" He said as kept looking at it which I just rolled my eyes.

On the penthouse terrace
We were looking for the bird. The girls were sitting out her by me playing with their toys. "Ugh! That stupid hawk won't move." I said as I waited for it to move. Bertram steps onto the terrace, holding a notepad. "Why have you added 10 pounds of rodent to my shopping list? A sudden craving for mice krispie treats?" Bertram said as he looked confused. "We need bait to get the hawk to fly so we can get an action shot for our photo essay." I said as I told him. "But all it does is sit there like a lump. If it watched Korean soap operas in its underwear, it would be you, Bertram." He said as the girls looked over at their uncle Luke. "Oh!" Bertram says as he chuckles. "Very funny. If you need me, I'll be inside spitting in your lunch." He said as I laughed and so did Destiny and Lydia. I step onto the terrace carrying two drinks and Luke is sleeping in one of the chairs. "Get any good shots of the hawk?" I said as I scream. "Luke!!" I said as I scared the girls. I looked them like oops mommy's sorry. He exclaims and falls out of the chair then gets up. "Ow!" He said because he fell out which made Destiny and Lydia laugh again. Luke is looking over the side of the terrace because Ravi thought Kipling was missing. "He's not lost. He's right down there. And he looks like he's about to eat Mrs. Chesterfield's stupid mutt." He said as the girls giggled when they heard stupid mutt. "What?!!" Me, Jessie, and Ravi said as we rush to the edge of the terrace. From our own terrace me and Luke laugh. "Okay, I'll bet you five bucks the lizard eats the dog and Chesterfield." He said as betted it. "You're on. I bet she tastes as bitter as she looks." I said as we both laugh. The hawk screeches. "The hawk is moving! Give me the camera!" I said as Luke takes the camera and aims it at the hawk. "It's diving straight toward us!" I said as I looked over at the girls. "I think it wants the Chihuahua!" I said but hey good thing it was my babies. "Hey, everybody loves Mexican." He said as I nod. The hawk swoops toward Zeus but Mr. Kipling whacks it with his tail and Luke gets a picture of it. "I got it! Now, that's an action shot!" He said as he shows me the picture and I was shocked he actually did it.
Jessie and Zuri were in the kitchen and I walk in. I wasn't happy also saw the girls in their high chairs next to Jessie. "This stinks! Luke and I got an A on our photo essay!" I said as I looked at Jessie and my girls. "What's wrong with an A? Again, not seeing the problem." She said look concerned. "The problem is I did all the work but Luke got all the credit! I watched that stupid hawk like a... hawk all day, and all Luke did was snap one lucky picture!" I said as I looked so upset. Luke runs into the kitchen and I rolled my eyes. "Hey, did Emma tell you my picture made the homepage of the school website?" He said as he shows Jessie. "All my hard work really paid off!" He said as I attack him and we tussle and shout at each other.
