Chapter 11. Weekends for fun!

Neha's POV:

        It was almost a week since my classes started. I became friends with many of the girls and boys in my class, Noah was also with me. He was all alone when he moved in, so we connected on that level. The whole week he'd help me out with the studies and all the stuff. Most of our classes were the same except for one, Mathematics. I have no idea how he could do that. I can't even open a maths book in my nightmares. He says "well it's for different people and I'm among them." Yeah he's a different breed of species to like it. Anyways college was going really smooth, I got into a small group of friends, after classes we would sit in the cafeteria and hang out. During the week Harry's texts were pretty frequent, it had been a while since we met up. The boys invited us over to their beach house for the weekend, there we were gonna meet Lou and Liam's girlfriends Avril and Kim. I just wish we'd get along well. Oh and I forgot, Rhea and Zayn are together. That girl was sneaking behind my back and meeting him after college. So she was super excited to spend the entire weekend with him. And I could be pretty sure, they were gonna be all PDA. But more than anything I was excited that it was a whole weekend with Harry! Oh how much I was hoping for things to move forward between us, but Rhea cautioned me saying "he has a reputation of being a player. Don't lose your heart to him that fast. Be sure that he doesn't break it." She was right, he did have a past, but a past is to look past it right?

            We were all packed and ready, dressed up in casual clothes, we decided that we'd slip into our beach wear at the house. I got a text from Harry-'come down all, we reached below your house.x'

We brought all the bags and baggage downstairs, Niall and Harry got out of the cars to help us out with the bags. We loaded the cars and set out. We sat in this order, Harry, Niall and me in one car and Zayn, Rhea and Richa in the other. Louis and Liam were already in the beach house, waiting for us with their gfs. And we set out. After a lot of pestering by Harry, Niall finally agreed to sit behind and let me sit on the front seat. It was long drive, it was far away from London, I switched the radio on and coincidently, little things was playing. Harry said "change it. I really don't like listening to myself on the radio. Still kinda feels weird." Niall also joined in with him "yeah, not really used to this yet. Let's plug in my iPod, I'll put on my road trip playlist." I said "well I love it when your songs come on the radio. Gives a sense of satisfaction. Anyways Niall u have an excellent song choice. Plug the iPod in."Niall gleamed with happiness, and put on some songs with LMFAO, Bon jovi,jerky boys, etc. classic Nialler. On the way we saw an abandoned field with hay stacks and all those village stuff. We. decided to get down. We took some pictures with each other, it was fun. Back in the car, I said "well I'm pretty hungry, can we stop somewhere to eat?" Harry replied "actually there aren't any restaurants on the way. The next place is only 1/2 an hour away. Sorry you'll have to wait." Niall laughed and said "no one goes hungry in the car while Nialler is with them. Don't worry Neha I'm all prepared with food. Let's see what I've got, oh! potato crisps, gummy bears, Pringles,both diet and normal Pepsi and a six pack beer. Neha would you like a bag of crisps?" For some reason the video of Niall shouting 'potato' came into my mind and I started laughing loudly. They looked at me all perplexed. I spoke in between my fits of laughter," nothing. I just remembered Niall shouting potato, I correlated it with crisps. Yes Niall I'll have some crisps." He shot me a look and then handed me the crisps. He opened a can of beer and one Pepsi for me. To be fair, that boy did prepare for a road trip. Harry stuck to diet Pepsi because he was driving. After a 3 hour drive, we reached the beach house. It was big 2 storied bungalow, it was huge. We pulled into the drive way there was Liam waiting for us. But for a shocker, Liam had shaved of all his hair. I hadn't imagined Liam cutting his luscious locks. Harry parked the car and we got out. I could hear the bustling of sea waves, the air was filled with the smell of the ocean. The boys took care of the bags. All of a sudden a girl came running, she was brunette and was wearing shorts and a tank top and hugged me. Harry, Liam and Niall started laughing at my perplexed look. The girl spoke up "hey ya! I was so eager to meet you. Heard so much about you, finally these guys had the sense to introduce us. Trust me, we're gonna have lots of fun." I was still confused and reluctantly replied, "yeah! Me too. But mind if I ask who you are?" She giggled and said "oh! I'm sorry, my mistake. I just keep on ranting away, I'm Kim as in Kimberly and you are Neha, their new best buddy." I smiled and replied "yeah I'm Neha. I guess they've told all about me. I'm glad we could finally meet. Where's everybody anyway?" She spoke as we walked towards the house,"they're inside. Avril's prepping up some appetizers in the kitchen and your sisters and Zayn arrived 1/2 an hour ago." As I entered into the house, I noticed it was extremely huge. As soon as you entered, there was a long stairwell which led to the upper floors. I walked towards the living area, there were 2 couches and a few chairs laying around. In between was a coffee table and a flat screen directly in front. Zayn and Louis were watching football. They greeted me and I went into the kitchen to meet Avril. Wonder how she was...

As I entered the kitchen, a girl wearing an apron over an tank top and skinny jeans was taking a tray out of the oven. She had long but curly black hair. She saw me and came in to hug me. After a brief embrace, she spoke "hi! I'm Avril, Liam's girlfriend. And you must be Neha, Kim's been on and on about you although you haven't met her." I smiled back and said "I'm happy I finally got to meet you. I've heard a lot about you." She smiled and said "I better get back to the kebabs, the guys like them with their drinks. Why don't you get freshened up and Kim will get you a cup of tea. Won't you?" She said "yes of course I will. Come on Neha I'll show you your room." And she led me upstairs into a large bedroom, where my bags were being brought in by Harry. I looked at him and said "sorry fella, I don't have any spare change for tips. Ill have to pay you with chewing gum instead." He laughed and said "that's fine, your here right now with me, that's all the tip I need" and winked. Kim started to giggle as I felt my cheeks go red, Harry smirked probably happy making me feel embarassed. What a flirt! Kim said that I should freshen up and then she and Harry left the room. I took some comfy clothes out and decided to get into something more beach friendly. In my mind I was happy that Kim and Avril were normal and were very welcoming. Well Kim was a little feisty and bubbly, but then again she was Louis's girlfriend. Avril felt more calm and composed, a lot like Liam. Ms. Sensible. I went near the large balcony outside my bedroom, it had a beautiful view of the sea. It was the afternoon sun that was making the blue more lighter than normal. I just stared into the horizon, thinking about what was gonna happen that day. Hope all goes down well..
