To say the start to the following day was hell for Y/N would've been a big understatement. He couldn't sleep at all due to the flashbacks he had going on the entire night. His eyes were red, his hair a mess and his mood was way down to begin with. When he got up, Y/N was quite wobbly on his legs as he tried his best to get to the bathroom to at least freshen up a little before going anywhere. Y/N was aware that this way of living wasn't healthy in any way, but he got so used to it that any radical changes would disturb his even flow. The scarred man began by just washing his face with ice cold water to shock him into waking up. It worked much better than having a cup of coffee chugged down his throat, but he didn't know what to expect from the day as he brushed his teeth, then combed his hair and beard and then went on his way to the Performance Center. Something already made him feel like this day wouldn't be an ordinary one at all.
Y/N:" I swear if anyone ticks me off, I will break their neck."
Y/N really wasn't in a good mood as he made his way further into town to get his work down. Maybe everything was going to be fine, maybe something would actually go wrong. Only time would tell what was in store for him and as expected, a lot of people were in the building. Most of them immediatly looked at Y/N with mixed reactions. Some just smiled softly, others look shocked or angry and others just turn away unimpressed which was the most usual reaction he got. Y/N was already changed into his gym clothes which was nice for any ladies for sure, but that didn't matter to the former General as he started out with lifting some weights.
He had his headphones in as well as he let his playlist run on shuffle.
His taste in music wasn't really anything special as it consisted mostly of music that would cause him to exercise even harder than before. Y/N also heard his drill instructor shouting in his mind, driving him to push way past his limit. Sure, this seemed like showing off, but it was far from that. Working out was never about showing how much Y/N was able to flex his muscles or something. He wasn't a stupid bonehead like most of the guys in gyms and he clearly wasn't interested in hooking up with anyone, but that didn't stop a total stranger to walk up to him.
