Part 1-Reincarnation

I was reborn in a completely different world. I did not believe in getting isekai'd but here I was, currently in a very bizarre condition seeing my new parents looking at my mentally 15- years-old-self, just inside a body of an infant.

I cannot say I have the greatest luck as I have born as a side character.

My eyes shifted from the ceiling to my mother of this world. She had long beautiful red hair with hazel eyes.

My eyes glimmered whenever I looked at those gorgeous eyes. Maybe my inner self was drawn to my mother's.

After all, she's my mother now.

"Our baby is smiling honey!"

She said enthusiastically to the guy next to her who was probably my father with completely black hair and green eyes.

They both looked at me as if I was some kind of amusement to their eyes.

I awkwardly crooked my face which led to another fangirl-like scream from my mother.

"Today our daughter seems to be in a good mood."

Guess my expression can't be read at all.

I was somehow aware of the world where I reincarnated as one day I heard the murder of the crown prince Anasticas De Alger Obelia.

I am Helena. Helena Irain. I was reborn after I woke up from a nap which I took in my original world which is-I'm well aware of- very very odd.

My father is the marquiess of the Obelian empire ruled by the soon-to-be emperor Claude De Alger Obelia.

There was nothing special about Helena in the manhwa I read. Helena was a side character or maybe called an extra who had few scenes in the manhwa.

She was barely noticed until I took over this body. This body was already one year old when I entered it and now I am one year and a few months.

I still can't talk that much except gugu gaga- that is equal to not being able to speak yet.

I was often called a rare beauty but I doubt it, in this world where beauties like Athanasia exist I would not have a chance to stand as a beautiful lady. But there's always a difference between elegant and beautiful. If you mean elegant I can try.

It's funny how my mind works while living inside a one-and-a-half-year-old baby.

I scoffed and turned around taking in the glamourous and luxuriousness around me.

After all, he is a marquess, a rank under the duke but pretty same in power.

I was pretty sure the marquess had quite a lot of power as I often saw soldiers coming around while I lay in bed and there was always a guard standing outside the door, I came to know somehow as my nanny informed him whenever she needed help.

"Helena."

I looked at the voice that called out my name, my father of 'this world'.

"Yes!"

I replied, shouting, running towards him.

Marquess hugged me tightly and took me into his arms. It suddenly reminded me that it took Claude a long time to hug his own daughter, Athanasia who was still living without a bit of love from her father. Today was the day she would first meet him!

Yes, years have passed since I was reincarnated. And now I'm completely living as Helena accepting my fate.

"Where are we going today?"

I asked examining the atmosphere.

"We are going to the capital."

                      ************

The carriage arrived in front of a restaurant after a few hours of journey. We entered the packed restaurant. Though it was not a very noisy place as everyone there was very quiet and mannered in other words aristocratic restaurant.

My eyes looked around the enormous place, there was a familiar figure, that oddly stood out the most among the nobles who were present inside, especially my roaming eyes caught the white hair that contrasted with the darker shades.

My eyes followed its way, which was most probably coming in our direction, I heard my father calling him by the name which I assumed-

"Long time no see..."

He paused a little.

Duke Alpheus?

"Duke Alpheus."

The duke smiled.
