Sitting on a sofa inside a big hall room made up of glass I wondered if it would be more reasonable to call this place a jewelry shop for how the room was beautified with jewels.

There were so many colourful stones dug on the surface of the walls, more than I could ever imagine. Pretty strange the way they showed off their wealth.

We were at a tea party. It was my first one. I was late to make an appearance in the social world but it didn't matter as it was not the debutant ball or something.

I wore a dress made of silk which was light green colored. The embroidery on that dress made it look magnificent. There was a lace on the left side of my waist which made that dress look cute enough. And another ribbon was set on my head, I thought I was looking dumb with it as I wasn't really used to those kinds of... hairband I could say?

The dress was somehow related to my eyes. No, my eyes couldn't be called any ruby eyes nor were they attractive that much. The color wasn't likable in my own opinion. And my hair was also not any fascinating color, it was shiny dark black colored. The one thing I liked about my hair was that it was straight as hell!

Perfect features for a sidekick, weren't they? But I was not that bad-looking, I was not that beautiful like Athanasia nor I was cute like Jennette.

Anyway, my mother was sitting near me but not with me. She was having a conversation with other ladies.

Before coming here mother made it clear that this was my chance to make new friends.

Okay, but with whom?

As I thought about the answer my mother gave me, I looked with a sickened expression at the side where a great number of children were playing. Her answer was,

-Don't worry Heli, there will be a lot of kids around your age. You sure will like them.

She sure was aware of the fact that I was pretty unnatural compared to my age. Like she knew people like my age should not act like how I act. That was one of the reasons she brought me late to a social party like this. She thought people would make bad rumors about me being abnormal.

While looking at my pancake I looked again at the bunch of kids, playing happily, shouting, running around like crazy, playing with dolls and those kinds of stuff, etc. It was sickening and kind of terrifying for me.

Children are cute but they are annoying. Furthermore, I always imagine scenarios of the possible accident they can get or get me into at any single minute. That was the reason I was afraid of kids.

But Suddenly I caught my attention. Two kids arguing.

A girl shouted which hurt my eardrums even though I wasn't that close.

"Hey! You ripped out my doll's ear!"

The boy protested, who had a hair with purplish-black color?

"Huh! I didn't! It was your doll's fault that tangled with my shirt's bottom!"

Pfft. What? Dolls fault?

"No! You did it on purpose!'

"Why would I? Don't I have other things to do?"

"You liar."

"What did you say?! We never lie!"

"You are a liar!"
