"The God of Jacob is our refuge, the Lord of Hosts is with us" ps18😉

....................................................................................................................................................

I got in contact with the metals on the cage and and from the corner of my eye I saw stf stare back at me I was boiling in anger as I saw him and he had this look on his face the look of complete vulnerability , but I will not pity him, I huffed and looked away.

I shuffled around to find a comfortable position, when I head the movement of feet, and a faint voice echo, I looked at sfd1 and the other prisoners and I noticed they all moved back. As the voice became louder, I heard screams arise from the sdfs in different pitches creating a form of harmony suprisingly.

I snapped out of it in time to move away from my cage and play dead. As soon as I settled down and steadied my breathing and tried to slowen my heart beat or whatever was hammering in my chest.

I heard a scratchy noise, like she was dragging a metal chair along with her, my fingers began to shake visibly and I knew if fear had a scent, it would be damn concentrated in the atmosphere.

Suddenly it all stopped, the screaming, the voices, the scraping of the chair and the silence came . It hung in the air very heavily and even I knew from all the horror movies I had watched, that it was the calm, before the storm.

I was still holding my breath, and was fighting hard against releasing it, because I knew it was going to be very noisy. I knew I was not going to last long, so I opened my mouth and slowly tried to breath. And that's when I noticed I forgot how to breath and was trying so hard to remember.

(A/n I always forget how to breath, and then I feel my lungs become tighter😂😂😂 and I'm then forced to yawn, it really is just a silly thing I do for fun😂😂 I'm weird like that)

I started to yawn repeatedly and I felt the knots in my chest lossen, the silence had gone one for quite some time so I felt it was safe to take a tiny peek, at the entrance of the cage. I counted in my head till three before slowly turning to face whatever I had to and thankfully the creature was gone.

I turned back to my original position breathing out sigh's of relief.

I position myself towards the door, watched with sceptical eyes and tried to think up an escape plan. A few minutes turned to an hour, and I was yet to come up with anything relatively sensibly. I bit my lips, and lamented inwardly, as bitterness filtered through my mind.

I opened my eyes to study my environment once more, and noticed the weird carvings on the walls, the creepy desent of the hallway into total darkness, and the faint light could seen from the the extreme left edge of the wall. Looking critically, due to the dim lightning ,I noticed faint claw marks on the rough ground surface, the claws looked so recent and looked as if it was made by a creature that was dragged against its will.

I looked over to the entrance of the cell I was occupying and notice the bars that were used as the boundaries, were looking slick, I reached out to touch it but was unable to due to distance from where I sat . So I reposition myself and touched it with ease this time. The moisture on the bars were warm and
was a little thick, so I brought it closer to my nose only to be hit with the strong metallic scent of blood, making me to flinch and retract my hand from my nose and move back to my original position.

I assessed every detail with extreme caution and resigned myself to a damned fate, when a bell rung in my head as I reassessed the cell once again, focusing on the light in the wall. Standing abruptly almost falling, I smartly but cautiously walked towards the wall, letting my fingers softly touch the wall. As soon as I could feel the wall, I lost touch of the wall and fell into the wall.

I fell into a puddle of dirty water, I recoiled at the mouldish, moist, damp smell emitting from the passage I accidentally entered. Standing quickly, I noticed the light was moving along the walls. I shouted for a few minutes for the light to stop, but on seeing it just moving , I began to run following the light, a little clumsily too, falling a couple of times, and recovering just as fast each time, non-stop running. After a while, the light picked up its speed , making me also pick up my speed . I grunted, huffed and panted as I tried to catch up to the light.

I noticed the light finally started to slow down, I slowed down as well, catching my breath as I speed walked with the light.
