Chapter three

I tell my mum everything, starting with the changes in my appearance and all the events that happened at school. I look at my mum after spilling everything out, and see her eyes swimming with tears.

"Sweetie, I'm so sorry" she says sadly.

"Why? You did nothing wrong" I reply confused.

"Listen, I'm going to tell you everything right now, you will listen to me and not interrupt, Your finally going to get to know about your dad" She says to me, a tear dropping out of her eye.

I nod silently, worry starting to build in the pits of my stomach.

"Aurora, your dad is a witch, which makes you half werewolf and half witch, I fell in love with your dad knowing he was what he was and him knowing I was a werewolf, it seems stupid, I should of just waited for my mate but after so many years of waiting, I thought I didn't have one, and your dad was there to comfort me. When I became pregnant, he left because he didn't want a child, he knew that the elders will come for you, so he left you with me, so you can be brought up werewolf style and so you wont attract any elders attention. Darling, you're going to have to leave, in this city right here there are witches living around the area, so any magic you've used would've left a trace they will be coming soon, and that's not it, Yo-"

I burst out laughing, instantly cutting her off, this is a joke, it must be a joke, I cannot be a witch that is not possible. I look up after awhile and my laughter dies down when I see my mum. She's looking at me the seriousness of the situation clearly written all over her face.

"You weren't kidding were you?" I ask her quietly

She shakes her head more tears slowly falling.

Why me? I am going to be chased by some elders because my dad wasn't responsible enough to use protection. Did he not know how badly this would impact me. My life couldn't possibly get worse.

"Why do I have to leave? apart from the fact that they're coming after me, why do I have to leave?" I ask her my voice slowly raising. I was going to leave the place I grew up in, even if it wasn't the best place it was still my home.

"Because Aurora the amount of power you hold is immense, you see a witch is only supposed to be able to control one element and have one more extra power like telekinesis, telepathy or levitation, you however, can control two elements and are able to move things with your mind or will". She explains slowly letting me drink in this new piece of information.

So for some reason I am able to control two elements, great, I hated this, I don't want this, I really don't want this. I could feel the familiar bubble of anger stirring inside me and I tried to control it, I squeezed my eyes hoping it would fade, but then a surge of cold wind made its way into my room biting my skin but that wasn't the end of it, a loud thudding noise was heard shortly and then the water inside of the glass on my desk started rising slowly and then twirled around before dropping on the floor, making a small part of my carpet wet.

I look at my mum in panic and she runs to the other side of my room to look out side the window, I hear her gasp and run towards her to see a large tree on the ground. I cry out loud and back away from the window, my hands shaking.

"Aurora, my mistake, not two elements four, you control all four elements, Fire, water, earth and air, pack your things right now, you're going to live with your grandma in a small town located in new Mexico, the good thing is that most of the population are were wolves and there are no witches, so she'll help you control your magic there, without you being traced, I'll miss you sweetie" She explains and then grabs me wrapping me in a tight embrace, I cry onto her shoulder for a while before letting go and taking a deep breath in to calm my nerves.

I cant believe this all happening, four elements? That was unheard of, and now I'm going to have to move away without my mum, to live with my grandma whom I've only met once. Yippee. Note the sarcasm.

"Mum, is grandma a witch?"  I ask her curiously while packing my things.

"Ah I thought you would ask that question, no she isn't, otherwise I would of been half witch, her mate was a witch but the elders murdered him for mating with a werewolf, she didn't have any children with him and after a while she fell in love with a werewolf even though she could'nt get over her real mate, she wanted children and so that's when I came along, so just like you I wasn't the child of my mothers mate" She tells me, everything making sense now.

"She knew a lot about witches, her mate told her everything, she even has a few of his spell books hidden in her house, she can and will help you Aurora, your not alone". She finishes telling me everything and helps me pack some more things.

She hands me a credit card and I look up at her a questioning look on my face.

"I figured I should make up for the past years, you know, how I didn't get you things or how I barely helped you, there's fifteen thousand dollars in there, if you ever need more call me I saved my number on your new mobile, I love you" She hugs me and I hug her back, I was going to miss her so much.

"I love you too" I whisper back.

I hope you enjoyed this short chapter, I'll try and update quicker but I'm so busy with mock exams and all. But i'll try guys do not worry.
