prologue

Before we start:

This fanfiction will follow the Anime to a degree. There will be events that are not in the Anime and it will have a different ending so no VIRM. That is all, Now let's start this story

Nine Alphas pov:

We nines were currently fighting a horde of klaxosaur trying to break into site 35. it was mostly Conrad classes along with some Mohorovičić classes here and there. But even so, the sheer amount of them was pushing us back. The 30 franxx that were stationed at the site where barely helping.

"These human aren't doing anything," Beta said annoyed

"It just goes on to show how much better we nines are" I answered. I had never been a fan of humans.

The stench of the beast's blood was seeping into the vacuum-sealed cockpits of our franxx and it was slowly driving me insane. Even so, we continued to fight.

"What's your kill count Delta?" theta asked suddenly

"367, You?" he asked her back

"409, looks like your on cleaning duty since I clearly have the most kills" She replied cockily

"You can help him since I have 537 kills," I said arrogantly, shaking my head.

Suddenly the ground started to shake violently, as a horde of worm-like Gutenberg class klaxosaurs erupted from underground. One immediately goes for Beta, picking him up by the torso and holding him up outside of our reach. The monster suddenly grows arms and grabs the Franxx legs before riping them of. The coms are instantly filled with pained screams.

"Beta I'm on my way!" I yell as I jet off towards the beast. However suddenly another one of them grabs me before pinning me down.

Meanwhile with -1:

I was currently making my way to papa since he had called me. The corridors of the space station were never that interesting. Completely white with some text here and there. Outside was something else, you could see the beautiful stars every hour of the day. I was listening to my music as I walked through the halls. One of the few nice things Papa had actually done for me was having doctor franxx make me a device that played music from the old world. I was drumming along to the beat with my tails racing one as I hit the ground with the other one. I finally reached the door to the main room. I stopped my music and adjusted my parasite outfit along with the inhibitor ring around the base of my tails. I also made sure that my hair was presentable and not covering my two blue horns. I didn't like them so I usually kept them hidden under my hair. I entered the "throne" room as all of APE turned towards me.

"Ah -1 you made it" Papa exclaimed unenthusiastically

"Well you called, father" I answered

"Yes the nines are in an unfavorable situation," He said as a live feed to the battle poped up

"So you want me to save them?" I asked already knowing the answer

"Indeed, now get going," He said as he turned back to the others

I sighed and went to the hangar. The walk wasn't that long as I was hyping myself up for the incoming battle. The narrow corridors weren't a problem as everyone usually stayed out of my way. After about 5 minutes I reached the catwalk for my personal franxx. It's black, masculine body with golden edges and details shined in the hangars light. Two black lion heads with gold details were neatly placed right above the hands and the flexible yet sturdy cloak was hanging from its back. I opened the silver faceplate and climbed inside. Taking one last look at the black horn in the middle of the franxx forehead that was curved slightly upwards. I got into the pistil seat since I have the ability to control a franxx on my own without it going stamped before separating my tails and plugging them into the stamen's leg holes. The franxx started up without any issues as my vision moved to that of the franxxes. I grabbed my giant twohanded sword with metalic teeth on and got ready to be dropped straight into the battle.
