"You?"
She said not sounding too shocked.

"Oh, hi! What a small world!"
He replied.

"You guys already know each other?"
Nimisha questioned.

"He is 'bus guy' I told you about!"
Aadhya whispered in her ear.

"Ohhhhhh!"
She replied dramatically.

"So, guys enjoy yourself, I'll just be back."
Parag excused himself.

"So, you are new in the city, how are you feeling?"
Nimisha asked Samarth.

"It's not so bad yet. And once I'll get to know about this place and people, then I can say."

"Smart answer!"
Nimisha said and they chuckled.

"You get yourself comfortable, we're just around if you need anything."
Nimisha said as they had to meet other people also.

"Yeah, sure!"

----

"Hi again!"
Aadhya said approaching Samarth who was standing alone in the balcony.

"Oh, Hi!"

"Drink?"
She asked forwarding one glass.
He took it.

"Our conversation was left in between the other day."
He said.

"Yeah, actually. I was also thinking about the same."

"But our current surrounding doesn't fit with that topic."
He said and they chuckled.

"So, how're you in Delhi? Did you get transferred?"
She asked.

"Oh, no. I'm actually on a project here for few months. And then I'll go back to Mumbai."

"Oh."

They got engaged in talking.

-----

"Even I wanna go to Mumbai."

"Why? The city is overcrowded."

"Yeah, but it also has career opportunities and I also wanna go and see what's all this 'Mumbai city is love' is all about."

"Even I wanna know that."

"You also don't know yet. Since when you're there?"

"I first went to Mumbai when I was a kid of 3 or 4 years. And staying there from the age of 14."

"Whatt!!?? You're there since so long and still you don't know about it."

"Yeah, for me it was as normal as eating pani puri."
(Pani puri = An Indian street food.)

"Ah, what! First of all eating gol-gappa is not normal at all. It's so much more than that. And second of all, I think you don't know how to visit a city. Let me give you a tour of our capital city."
(Gol-gappa = Pani puri)

"You will?"

"Yeah, sure!"

"That would be great!"

"Going out with her is not great, dude! Believe me. Also, please came in the living room, me and Nimisha has an announcement to make."
Jeevan said and took them with him.

"So, it's about to strike 12 at midnight........"
Jeevan said holding Nimisha's hand.

"Oh my God, it's already 12!"
Aadhya said shockingly not listening to Jeevan.

"Yeah, dude! Mujhe bhi pata hi nahi chala!" (Even I didn't notice.)

".......so on her birthday, we thought to tell you all that I proposed Nimisha, she said yes and we're getting married!"
Jeevan completed and everyone cheered except for one.

"What!"
Aadhya said too loudly.

"You're getting married?"
She continued.

"We'll talk about this later, aadhya!"
Nimisha said trying to shut her up. She knew that Aadhya's going to be mad at her for not telling anything about this but it's better to talk later.

"Happy birthday, my love! I'm so glad to have you in my life forever."
They announced and celebrated for a while and after some time the party was ended.

Later.

"First of all, when did he proposed you?"
Aadhya asked.

"After I came from your house party, that day, he asked me."

"Since then? And you didn't even tell me?"

"I know, but we wanted to keep it as a secret for a little while and ask our families in the meantime."

"Well, that's okay, but I'm your friend, no! You should have told me."
Aadhya said making puppy face.

"I know, I'm sorry."

"I don't need your sorry. Come hug me, I'm still mad but so so happy for you."
Aadhya said hugging her.

"So, the matter sorted?"
Jeevan asked.

"Yeah, I think!"
Nimisha replied.

"No, you've to take me out for dinner as compensation."
Aadhya said to which they all laughed agreeing.

-------

Next Monday.

"Hi!"
Aadhya said as she took the seat behind him in the bus."

"Oh, hi!"
Samarth said turning.

"How are you?"
He continued.

"You literally met me one day ago, I'm pretty much alright!"
She replied thinking of it as a fact.

"Yeah, I was being generous."

He was having trouble with talking turning his head behind so, he asked his fellow passenger to exchange seat with her.
After, they sat together, they had their conversation.
This was their everyday routine now, they were getting along well and mostly spending time with eath other in the bus only.
Now, it's been 20 days since he was in Delhi.

"Oh, it started raining again, and I don't have my umbrella or raincoat!"
He said looking out of window.

"How can you forget it knowing that this is rainy season."

"I forgot it in the office, I was in hurry! I did not forget it at home."

"What hurry? You've to go somewhere?"

"No, dude! I had to catch this bus."

"Well, you could take another one."

"Yeah, but...I.. I mean...I always take this bus."

"Yeah, well."

There was a hint of liking each other but not accepting it.

"If you want, you can walk me home and then take my umbrella to your's. I mean, if you want, obviously."

"Yeah, sure! That's a great idea. You sure you don't have any problem with this?"

"Oh, no!"

"Okay, then!"

"Okay!"
