Chase POV

"Carmon what was in those liquids that you injected us with and why was mine purple?" I asked. "That will be explained after the barriers are up." Carmon was typing furiously on her computer. I didn't know what barriers she was talking about but I had to find out. "What barriers?" I asked. She didn't respond. On the computer I saw places, different parts of the city. Then I saw something rise from the ground. Huge cemented walls rose and towered on the borders of our city. "Carmon what are you doing?!" I yelled as I pulled her away from the monitor. "It's to late Chase nothing can stop it. Nothing can stop me!" She said while laughing like a maniac. I rushed over to the computer and tried to shut it down but the barriers kept rising. My fingers traveled over every single button as the barriers kept going for what seemed like forever. Then when I looked back up at the monitor a glass dome towered over the city caving us in. "It's complete." Carmon said. I turned and grabbed her by collar. "What is complete?, why are you so happy about this?, what did you do?!" I said while looking her in the eyes. "Crimson will never fall and everyone will be a part of it and the liquids you asked about the blue ones those were attack serums with one push of a button those who took the shot will be under my control but the purple liquid I stuck you with was just grape juice." She said sinisterly. "You not going to get away with this Carmon I'm going to tell Marcy and she will kick your butt." I said while letting her go and going for the exit. "I'm sorry Chase." She said. "For what? You planning on-" I could finish my sentence because Carmon threw a needle which hit me in my neck. It had the attack serum. I watched as Carmon pulled out a remote and said "Chase you will not get Marceline and you will work for me." "Yes Carmon" the words escaped from my lips. Carmon sat in a chair. "This is going to be perfect." She said.
*marshall's POV*

I woke up in the grass with Marcy lying on my chest. That's when we felt the rumbles of something big. Now we are at the border of our city staring at the huge cement wall that stood there. Marcy paced back and forth thinking. She was mumbling under her breath then when she spoke up clearly she said "we have to go to Crimson." Then we were off bounding towards Crimson for the millionth time. There were guards placed outside the door when we arrived. One off them stopped me and injected me with a needle. "No magic past this point." The guard said. My jaws tensed at my fangs retracted into teeth and my skin turned back white until I was turned back to a human. We walked in after the transformation to the elevator. "Why didn't they inject you?" I asked marcy. "Because I have a more human appearance then the whole giant smurfs deal." She smiled. "I guess that's true." "To Carmon's office." She said then continued "the elevator is voice activated." Within seconds we were in Carmon office. She smile at her big brown desk as we walked in. "I knew you would come sooner or later." Carmon said. "Why are the barriers up again Carmon?" I said. Marcy gave me a puzzled look. I gave her a 'I'll tell you later' look. "Why else would a person put up barriers Marshall? To keep something in and the thing or should I say things I want are you two. Chase get in here now." Carmon said. Chase walked in with a black suit on and fancy shoes. "Chase?" Marcy said confused. He didn't speak let alone move he just stood there like a robot. "Get them." Carmon said and with that I was on the floor wrestling with Chase. He punched towards my face and missed while putting a dent in the floor. This went on for a while until he twisted my arm around my back. I can't believe this I was losing to a guy who was weaker than me and now all of a sudden he has superman powers I mean what gives? He pushed my arm higher making me grit my teeth. "Release him now Chase." Marcy said while pointing a gun at him. Her voice was stern yet her eyes were swelling with tears. "You shoot him you die." Carmon said. Two guard grabbed Marcy and one put a gun up to her head. "They shoot her you die." I said to Carmon. Chase still held me in the same position but he didn't push any higher. This was my chance I push him off and pinned him against the wall my grip tight around his neck. "Let her go." I said. Carmon was reluctant to tell them to let her go but when they did marcy kicked the gun over to me I picked it up and pointed it at Carmon still while holding Chase. "Now answer my question and call off Chase or I will shoot him." I watched Carmon as she chewed the inside of her jaw then she finally spoke "Chase get out." I let him go as he walk out of the room. "The barrier are up because I want them to be." She finish smiling a little. "There now your question is answered get out of my compound." Carmon said gesturing to the door. I glared at her but left as marcy trailed behind me. The elevator didn't need a command this time it just took us down to the first floor. We walk towards the exit as people watched us. Their eyes on us like we're targets and ready to shoot at any moment.
Marcy POV

I watched them as they watched us. Something was up. Carmon was up to something and I'm going to find out. I saw Lily and Fiona but when my eyes met theirs I didn't see anything. No emotion what so ever. No sadness, happiness, anger, or anything. I looked everyone else and saw nothing either. They were like mindless zombies with no emotion. We walked out of Crimson and I could still feel them watching eyeballing me and my every move. The guards that were plastered outside of Crimson gave marshall a green liquid in a medicine cup. Marshall eyed it suspiciously as one of the guards told him it was his powers. He drunk it and watched as his skin turn blue. We headed for the boarder. "Why would she want to keep us trapped in here?" Marshall said pacing. It was giving me a headache. "Ok first stop pacing second I notice something back at Crimson that no one showed any emotion and why would Chase attack you also what did you mean by "putting the barriers up again"?" I said. He looked at me and stopped pacing then began to speak " a long time ago when u was a recruit at Crimson Carmon put up the barriers and the day after she let loose a green sulfurous acid gas that spread through out the city killed everyone it came in contact with lucky me, my dad, and Chase hid in a metal safe until we were sure the gas was gone." He looked down at his shoes when he brung up his dad. Then it hit me. "We have to go to Crimson tonight. We have to sneak in ok?" I said. "Fine I'll do it but if you get caught in not coming to get you." He smile. "Whatever." I smiled back. Then suddenly the sky darkened the wind moving harder. I saw a flash of lightning strike near my house. One, two, three. That's how many seconds it took to strike again same way, same place, same time. I was already running before it happened a second time. I couldn't hear anything over the sound of my own heart pounding but I was sure that Marshall was right behind me. The closer we got to my house the worse it got. On Ridgewood blv trees were falling everywhere blocking our path. Turners road lead to us having to dodge axes which were being thrown at us by no one. We finally reached the corner of Elm and East street where my house was located at the very end. The something hit me at my side. I looked down and saw a small dart. I tried to pull it out but it was like it had hooks in my skin and wouldn't budge. I felt the whole left side of my body got numb. I wanted to say 'we have to run" but my words came out slurred and said "don't touch my buns." Marshall looked confused for a split second but picked me up and raced towards my house as more and more darts flew at us. We made it to my house and he kicked down the door and who sat in the middle of my living room was the one person I despised most. He sat there in his fancy white suit his dark eyes matching his dark sinister smile. Dracon spoke "well well well I didn't expect company I would have caused world destruction on Friday. My bad." I felt a little bit of feeling come back on my left side. Marshall put me down but held on to my waist to steady me. "How did you escape that shadow case?" Marshall demanded. "I told you I would rise. Did you think I was lying?" Dracon stood up and walked over to us. He faced me and said "you are so full of energy, so daring, so beautiful, yet your good but I see evil within your soul dearie an evil in which I haven't seen in a long time." He grabbed my chin and made me face him."You could join me if you wanted we could take over the world together you could be my queen." I jerked my head away then said "First don't you freaking touch me second go to hell." I kept my eyes locked on him but then I heard footsteps come from the hall. "I think you've met my assistant." Dracon said. I looked towards the direction of the hall. "Carmon." I scowled. The numbness was fully gone and I was back to normal. "What's the deal with you and Dracon." I demanded. "That is none of your concern." Carmon said. "Join me join the dark side or else." Dracon butted in. Carmon gripped her claws gently around Dracon's chin making him look down at her in the eyes or shades, whatever. "I thought we were going to rule the world together." She pouted. "Oh we will Carmel cakes we will." Dracon said while planting a kiss on her cherry red lips. "What the hell?" Marshall said. The two regained their posture and Dracon spoke for the both of them "I forgot to mention Carmon here is my significant other, my soon to be wife, my fiancé so what do you say Marceline join me or else." "I would rather die then join you!" I shouted. Then Dracon glared at me I matched his glare. "Careful what you wish for." He turned into a shadow and flew too quickly for me to see but by the time I could Dracon, Carmon, and Marshall were gone.
