The Blind Luna

Chapter 2.

It was the next day and I was a little apprehensive. I felt around the room I was in, looking for the door. I ended up bumping into something and next thing I knew something crashed to the floor and it sounded around me, breaking. "Well shit." I heard the door burst open and felt hands on me before I felt them pick me up and set me down on something soft. "Rhiannon, are you ok?" I heard Daniel ask, concerned. I nodded and sighed, "I was just looking for the door..." Daniel sighed before ordering someone to clean up the mess. I felt bad; I just wished I could see again. "Sweetie, I know you want some space, but I'd rather you sleep in my room with me, that way I can help you," Daniel said softly. "Ok," I simply said. "How about some breakfast, Rhiannon?" I grinned at the mention of food. I heard Daniel chuckle before he picked me up and started walking around. A few minutes later, I was sitting at the bar. Daniel told me what it was when I asked where I was. "Hey, Rhi!" Felice greeted me. I grinned and held my hand out for her to take. She squeezed my hand and gave me a quick hug before I heard the other stool move beside me where I'm guessing she sat down. "Oh, Alpha, I got what you asked for," Felice said. "Ah, perfect. I"ll give it to her after breakfast," Daniel said. A few moments later, a plate was sat in front of me. I carefully picked up the fork next to me and carefully and cautiously stuck some food on the fork and ate the little bit I had on the fork. "Mm, this is delicious!" I said with happiness. I heard the other two chuckle before I heard clinking against the plates. I ate a little more until I had gotten full. "Rhiannon, eat some more. You only ate a quarter of your food," I heard Daniel say with a frown in his voice. I shook my head, "I'm full, really." I heard Felice whisper something and then Daniel growl lowly. "I-I'm sorry..." I stuttered out. I felt a kiss on my forehead before Daniel hugged me to his chest. "I'm not mad at you, baby. If you're full, then you're full," Daniel said with a hint of anger in his voice. I nodded and hopped off the stool carefully. "Wait, I have something for you, my love." Daniel let me go and next thing I knew, something was in my hands. "It's a white cane for you. It will help you navigate around your surroundings," Felice informed me. I grinned and went to unfold it so I could walk around. I walked all the way to the living room and sat down on the couch without breaking or bumping into anything. "I love it!" Daniel chuckled before kissing my cheek, "I'm glad, baby. Now I have to go and do some work at the packhouse, ok?" I nodded my head before he kissed my lips and left. My eyes went wide and my mouth went agape. I heard Felice crack up next to me. "He kissed me!" Felice laughed some more before calming down. "Of course he did, he's your mate!" I grinned before looking for her arm and giving it a slight slap.

It's been a couple of hours and I was getting bored. "Hey, Felice?" I called out. She hummed a response. "Can we go for a walk? I need to get some fresh air," I asked. "Sure, lets go," Felice said with a smile in her voice. A few minutes later, we were walking outside. I was using my cane while Felice held onto my hand as we walked around. We heard some rustling coming from the right and next thing I knew I was being pushed behind someone, Felice probably. "Show yourself!" I heard more rustling and the voice I heard that came next sent chills through me. "Ah, the traitor and play thing together, this will be an easy kill," Raine said with a sneer. "I don't think so, the Alpha knows you are here and he is on his way," Felice growled out. Next thing I knew I heard paws on the ground before a deafening growl surrounded us. I heard bones pop and break before Daniel spoke, "Who are you and what the hell are you doing on my territory rogue." I heard Raine laugh before he spoke. "I'm here to take back what's mine. Both the girls." Daniel growled loudly along with another person; Brian I'm guessing. "You're taking no one!" Brian growled out. Raine laughed loudly before I heard retreating steps. "Kill him!" Daniel ordered. "Come on, love, I'm taking you back to the house," Daniel said as he picked me up. I nodded and held onto him as he ran to the house. "Felice and Kenneth, watch her while I hunt this bastard down," Daniel ordered them. "Yes Alpha," they both said simultaneously. I walked carefully to the couch and sat down before crying. "Rhi?" Felice called out softly to me. "I want him dead," I cried out. "He'll get him, Rhi, don't worry," Felice comforted me. I don't want him in the same world as me anymore. Not after what he's done to me. I want him dead and gone. "Shit..." I heard Kenneth breathe out. "What is it?" I asked quietly. I heard a sigh before he spoke. "He got away." My heart broke at that.
