"At school today, they told us to write a small story about someone who we love. A person who inspires us. I'm here to tell you the story of the man that even the divine have feared. My father, known only as Ares, was a legendary fighter who would fight anyone in his way, and anyone that threatened the people he loved. He would stand up for himself, in any situation. I've only heard stories from Sky, but from the stories I've listened to, my father was one of the greatest soldiers anyone could ever ask for.
I just wish he could be here to help me through these times. It hurts to not see him so many years on. I miss you dad, and I love you always. I wonder what you would do, if your secret was on the verge of coming out? And everybody feared you for what you are? People will never accept change, let alone accept the unknown.
Things could get messy here..
I'll show you how far I've come, and I'll do the Kaimen race proud. I promise.
I love you dad".
April wipes the tear away from her eyes, and puts the pen down, before screwing up the piece of paper and throwing it away.
