Silence.....that was what I heard for the last hour...

"So would you rather get your ass kick into jail or married to someone of my liking?" My dad ask harshly and to be honest I jumped a little. "I don't know" I said harshly back.

"Don't talk like that back" he said. I lift my hand to my cheek and put it where he slapped me.

"Ok you know him already but he coming over to have dinner tomorrow" then he left

Next day 6:30pm

I'm dress in dark blue jeans and a white dress shirt. I hear to door bell ring so I jog down the stairs to see hunter's family at the door.

Time for a awkward dinner...I breathe out a breath I didn't know that I was holding in when I hit the bottom of the stairs.

When we're at the table everyone is silent...hunter looked pissed

His mom clapped her hands together "so...axis are you excited to marry my son?" She ask

"Um..." I look at hunter to see him looking at his plate deep in thoughts "l-l guess"

I see hunter look up quickly at me eyes wide and eyebrows up

"Tell me what are you looking forward to most in this relationship?" She ask

"I-....um....I don't know" I answer starting to sweat because of being scared of what my dad thinking because he looking at me like he wants to kill me.

Later me and hunter went up to my room. He sits down on my bed and looks up at me

"Ya'know I don't like you at all not even as friends anymore" he said harsh

I just nod "I'm going to take a shower" I said. I grab a pair of shorts took a shower now I'm leaning against the door as I feel something hot run down my cheek.

Shit...I'm crying then it turn it into sobs

Little later I stop wash my eyes and cheeks so it doesn't look like I been crying. I open the door to see hunter on his talking on the phone.

"Yeah I'll be over tomorrow night I got to sleep at the gay boy's house" he rolled his eyes. I just walked out the door and down the stairs to outside. When I sat down on the steps the door open again to see hunter's mom. She sat down next to me.

"Something wrong?" She ask

I look at her tears coming to my eyes "have you ever had someone hurt you in your family rage?" I ask

"No...but my husband did...his dad slapped him all the time" she said

"May I talk to him?" I ask

"Ok be right back" she smile

Then hunter's dad came out and sat next to me

"Something wrong axis?" He ask

"Your wife told me you got slapped by your dad to...."

"Yeah he hated me...and only because he was getting grandchildren more sooner then expected....wait to?" He looked at me worried "are you getting slapped?" He ask

"Yeah......" I said slowly

He looks around then he got up got his phone out sat back down then put it on speaker.

"Hey Michael...." hunter's dad said

"What do you need boss" the man on the end of the line said

"I need you to come to *address* ok?" Hunter's dad said

"Yes sir" the other guy said

Then he hung up

"If you want you can live with me and my family or you can live on your own"

"Um....on my own?" I said

"Ok"
