It was a slow week at Teller Morrow, the only thing that was regular was Jax and Gemma going to the hospital to check on baby Abel. However that changed when Unser dropped by with a file for the Prince of Charming.
Getting out of the car Unser walked towards the office were he knew Gemma would be and knocked on the door. "Come in" Entering the room he saw that Gemma, Clay and Jax were all in the room and took a much needed breath. "Jax do you remember a women called Jane Light?" getting a confused face from all three people in the room he knew this was going to be a loud day. "No why?" handing Jax the folder he opened it to see sheets of paper ranging from court dates to an emancipation to a false accusation claim and the final page was of a birth certificate from 17 years ago for a daughter named ' Lilly-Mae Gem Light' Her mother Jane Light and listed under father was
..... Jackson Teller.
Jax promptly dropped the folder as if it had burned him shocking his mother and step father whereas Unser was expecting it "THE HELL YOU MEAN I'VE GOT A DAUGHTER!!!!". This comment caused Clay who was currently drinking a beer to choke and Gemma to shout "WHAT!!" Jax turned to his mum as she picked up the file and looked at the papers before looking at her son with shock saying "Really Jackson?!" looking back to Unser she said "Where's my grand baby now?" he shook his head before saying "Back in Santa Rosa, she just started her own garage and has already made $500,000 and this is her first 6 months being open. Shes still got one more year of school but they are on about her graduating early since she lives alone anyway".
They were all interested in the fact that a 17 year old opened up her own shop and was close to 1 million bucks in half a year however the last statement caught Clay's attention. "What do you mean since she lives alone anyway?". The three bikers looked between a mix of anger, concern and plain confusion, Unser however was very uncomfortable in replying "Shes been living on her own since she was thirteen. Her mother died of an overdose when she was three and since then she was bounced form one bad foster family to another. When she was thirteen she made a court judge grant her emancipation other wise she threatened to make the court broke with the amount of resources they'd waist on finding her until she was 18".
After that statement Gemma Looked furious with the treatment of her grand baby however she also had a glint of pride at how she had got herself out of her bad situation. And she sure as hell wasn't going to let a 17 year old live alone and unprotected. Not as long as she lived and breathed.
Clay looked at his old lady and knew she was thinking the same thing he was Lilly-Mae was a legacy and she was technically his grand daughter same as Able was his grand son and there was no way in hell he was going to leave her unprotected.
Jax well........Jax was stalling. He couldn't believe it his baby girl was never given a chance for a childhood and was thrown into so much shit she preferred to be on her own then to be looked after by a family. He was also cursing Jane for never telling him he had a daughter and was already planning to find a way to convince her to come back to charming with him. Picking up the folder he saw in the back there was a picture a beautiful girl with white/blond hair which looked to be natural along with a cute button nose and his bright blue eyes. He could already tell he was going to have his hands full with the prospects if she comes back home with them but he couldn't help but smile.
Showing Gemma and Clay the image they both thought that she was the most beautiful girl they had ever seen and both agreed that they needed to protect her as she looked so fragile. They were also shocked how a girl that looked like a little fairy could be a grease monkey. Clay shook his head not being able to see it where as Gemma was already planning a shopping trip due to the large and baggy boys clothes that consumed the girls figure.
What they didn't know was that looks can be deceiving and they were in for a pleasant surprise.
