"You doing alright?" I asked my Uncle Miguel as we were sitting next to each other in first class. Whilst, Damien and Nina were sitting behind us. Miguel wanted me to sit next to him as he wanted to let me know what was going down in Dubai. He had already given the other two a debrief on what was going on, and to be honest they had a little friends with benefits thing going on so it made sense to give them their personal space.

"Yeah I'm good Mia I'm just looking through these files, trying to show you the people that you will need to focus on tonight," He told me as he was flipping some pages in a folder.

"What's happening tonight?" I asked confused.

"Everyone back at Graze in LA are coming down to Dubai tomorrow but I wanted a couple of us going to a little celebration that is being hosted by our competitors Stock house," my Uncles company was called Graze and above board everyone believed that we were a manufacturing business of home devices when in fact that was Miguel's way of distributing illegal substances.

"If they're our biggest competitors why would they invite us to a celebration they're hosting?" I asked bewildered as I took a look at his other folder.

"To scope us out as competition the whole place is going to be filled with owners of different companies in the same field, they want to know more about us so we're going to go but we're going to use this as an opportunity to find out more about them, their drug distribution is taking over in LA and they've been known for corruption and fraud, no way I'm allowing them to do that in LA," my Uncle explained. One thing I was certain about my uncle was that he was a very power hungry man and there was no way he'd let anybody over step.

"So what's your plan?" I questioned.

"We go out tonight see what they're up to, once you get to your hotel room, there will be a dress waiting for you, we're going to have to be at tip top shape tonight, you're going to have to have heads turning Mia so we can use that to our advantage,"

This is why my sister hated my job. Even though, I didn't sleep with anyone she believed that this was close enough.

"Alright but what about Damien and Nina?"

"They're coming out tonight too but I have registered them to be a part of the waiting staff at the celebration, just in case something goes down I need them as back up,"

"Fair enough," Speaking of Damien and Nina, I got up from my seat and went to see what the two were up to. Sitting next to my uncle on a plane flight for twelve hours was mentally exhausting.

"I'm opening your curtain, you two better be decent," I remarked before opening their curtain. As soon as I had lifted their curtain, the two were laying back in their respective seats trying to make it look as unsuspicious as possible but a blind man could sense that that the two were flustered. They had definitely just been making out.

"You know there's no need for a warning why wouldn't we be decent, we're just watching a film," Nina smiled at me whilst looking anxious, like they had been caught out because they technically had been.

"Really what film?" I inquired trying to hold my laugh in.

"The other woman," Nina replied whilst Damien said "Friends with benefits," at the same time. I couldn't help but release my laugh as I looked at their screen.

"You guys are watching bride wars," I laughed. "Don't worry your secrets safe with me, I'll leave you to it,"

As I closed their curtain I could hear them both bickering. Next time I was bored I decided I would just read a book or even listen to Uncle Miguel's old stories about the Mafia anything was better than being the third wheel to them.
