My head rested on my hands. "So let me get this straight. You decided that it was time for the dwarves to retake their home." Gandalf nodded. "But in order to do that they need to slay a dragon." He nodded again. "And you all have to get there before Durin's day or else you have to wait another year?"
"Yes mother. I don't know why your repeating everything I just told you." He took a bite out of his scone.
"My son has got to be the biggest idiot alive." His head slammed onto the table. A very large book using his as a bookshelf. "Do you not remember anything I've taught you about dragons and Magical transportation. Why the hell haven't you made a portkey to get everyone there and save a shit ton of time."
"That is not how a proper lady talks." Sarumon the white walked in. "Gandalf, who is this woman?" I turned around and narrowed my eyes at him.
"If that is how you talk to the woman who raised you! I should turn you into a frog."
His eyes widened. "But the Valar said you were sleeping in the blessed isles."
"Yes I've been asleep for years turns out that whole blessed isles thing is just Hogwarts. It's like a giant magical beacon, Elves practically flock towards it but enough of that give your mother a hug." That he did. She was glad the darkness in his mind had not taken over yet.
Within minutes the two started arguing, about the dwarves quest.
They were staring to draw attention.
"Are you two done yet?" I sipped my tea. "You've been alive over 3000 years and you can't even go twenty minutes without fighting. I would like to remind you both that neither of you are the leader of the Istari. That job has always been mine. The dwarves are going on the quest and I will be going with them. Gandalf you will create the portkey to get us to the lonely mountain. And you Sarumon are going to go help Radagast cleanse the dark magic from the forest. Do I make my self clear." The two bowed their heads.
"Yes mother." They said in sync.
"Good. Now I'm am going to go speak with the dwarves."
She Found the dwarves bathing in a fountain.
"You know...they probably would serve you meat if you didn't act like this." Several of them shrieked and covered themselves. "Oh no don't stop on my account I mean you didn't care about any of the other women around here seeing you. Right?" A few of them blushed. Green eyes fixed on blue. "A true king leads his people humbly, he does his best to protect. He acts honorably even to his enemies, or those he perceives as enemies." Her head tilted to the side. "Hate creates more hate. Can you truly say that your actions the last few days has endeared you to any of the elves who live here. You could say that your hated blinded you in your quest. People who would have willingly helped you now want nothing to do with you." She turned around to leave. "Just some food for thought." "Not that you do much of that." She whispered under her breath. The elven guard down the hall snorted in amusement. She gave a cheeky grin as she passed him. Soon they would be hundreds of kilometers away trying not to be killed by dragon fire.
