The Dragon and the Robin

Chapter 10

Robin's POV
I'm standing next to Superboy as we wait for the French class at the Hall of Justice. Both the Justice League and Young Justice were asked to be here today. The class arrived with Todd around 7 or 8. I wasn't really paying attention to when they arrived. I look up to see Emylee wearing a Robin inspired outfit.

I feel my cheeks heating up and I turn my face away while biting my fist. Shit, she looks cute. I school my features and turn my head back around to look at the class. Kim is wearing a Superboy themed outfit. I notice that Superboy blushes a light pink. I smirk before schooling my features again and groan when I hear Lila is still talking about dating me when I'm not Robin. Will she shut up? We try, but she continues to do it. She likes the sound of her own voice. And only likes talking about herself. She doesn't let any of her "friends" talk about themselves. Is this why you two aren't friends? No, I just can't stand liars. And I called her out on all of her lies with Marinette. She didn't like that, so she told more lies. Is that why their are two groups in your class? Yes. I nod for a split second before walking over to Emylee and Kim with Superboy.

Emylee turns from her conversation and smiles softly. "Hello again Robin." She says. I nod before noticing the eyes bags under her eyes and the mug in her hand. "Did you go back to sleep after I left?" I ask. "Yes, I went back to sleep until my alarm went off." She says. Kim speaks up a few minutes later. "She also took a nap on the way here. And is Superboy okay? He looks sick." He says. I look over to Superboy to see he looks like a tomato now. "He's fine, just embarrassed." I say. Kim nods and walks away to another one of his friends. "How much sleep do you get?" Superboy asks Emylee getting over the embarrassment. "Four hours a week to 14 hours. It depends on my nightmares and if I can go back to sleep." She says. I can feel my chest tighten with worry. My father walks up to us with Black Arrow. "Robin, Superboy we need to talk to you two privately." Father says. I see Emylee walk away to probably talk with Todd and Travis. "What is it father?" I ask. "We want to help them, but we can't trust them right now. Find out who they are under their masks." He says. "I'll be helping you! I have a bad feeling that my cousin is one of the heroes of Paris." Arrow says. I nod and turn to Superboy. "Why was I needed?" He asks. "I will be sending you to help Robin and Black Arrow. You'll be going with them to Paris after the French class goes back." Father says. Superboy nods his head eyes filling with glee. He quickly runs off to his father to talk.

It's now noon and the French class has to go back to Gotham. I quickly leave soon after and go back to the Batcave. I go to get changed until Jason comes running into the cave. "What is it?" I ask. "I overheard Lila say that she was going to get all of her classmates to go karaoke tonight. And Emylee said how foolish that would be since Gotham is very dangerous at night. But Lila said something like "oh, that's just a myth! Even if we were to be in danger my soon to be husband would come save us!" Like seriously how stupid is this kid?!" Jason says ready to murder Rossi. My eyes widen and I growl. "Tt, looks like I'll be going on patrol tonight." I say. Jason shakes his head with a sort of 'I'm sorry' look. "Bruce and Alfred want us to go out as brothers. All four of us. So we'll be joining them for Karaoke." He says. I nod in understanding and change before going to the park with Titus. (Me: I love dogs!!! Okay back to the story!)
