You walked around the base clueless. You got bored sitting in the medbay, so you decided to look around....but then you got lost. You sighed and closed your eyes. That's when it happened. You bumped into someone. You both fell to the ground, whatever the person was holding trained down around y'all.
"Damnit" the person yelled.
You opened your eyes to see engineer. You looked around at the mess. "Sorry engie. I didn't see you there." You said shyly.
He just smiled at you. "It's alright, darlin'. Stuff happens!" He said add he stood up, offering his hand.
You smiled at the Texan and took his hand. He looked around at all the metal on the floor. He bent down and started to gather it all together, putting it in three large buckets.
You felt really bad, so you helped him. "Thanks, (y/n)." He said as he went to pick up all three buckets.
But you grabbed the third one before he could.
"Let me get this for ya!" You say happily. He smiles and nods as he starts walking to his garage.
You follow him, looking at all this metal.
"Hey, why do you have all this metal?" You asked, looking up at him.
He smiled and looked at you. "Well darlin', I'm makin a new sentry."He said as he opened the door and held it open for you to walk in first.
You smiled and thanked him as you stepped into his garage. It was really clean, for a garage that is. You looked to where he put the two buckets and placed the one you carried with them.
"Ah think you better get going back to the medbay." He said as he sat at his desk.
You looked down sadly, but then got an idea. You walked over to him and hugged him, laying your head on his shoulder.
"But I'm so bored!" You said, he chuckled.
"O alright. You can stay!" He chuckled, looking at you from the cover of his eye. You mentally bro fisted and pulled away from him.
You say on his desk and kicked your legs. 'I get to' "spend time with my crush." You accidentally said the last bit out loud.
You covered your mouth, blushing as you looked at engineer. He looked shocked and started at you.
He laughed, and kissed your cheek.
"Yeah, it's fun spendin time with ya crush." He says as he gets back to his blue prints.
You smiled and hummed as you watched him work.
