1.3: Still With You

Author's POV:

"Let's end everything here."-calmly said by Jungkook.

Taehyung didn't respond. Instead, he just stared at him. No words was exchanged for a couple of minutes.

Silence...

"Y-you're... Going to marry him right?(his eyes is starting to form some crystal lights) He's... Better. You... You only deserve a man like him."-he answered then looked up to probably stop the tears that are about to fell down.

From cold one, Jungkook's expression got softer.

"How did you know___ about it?"-he asked confused but soft enough to reach Taehyung's heart.

Silence

"I wasn't foolish enough to not know or feel it, JK.(he tried to sound as if he's joking) Besides, I'm old enough. I mean... We grow enough from this relationship. Now, your plan has succeeded. You have Jimin now. Not only as boyfriend but, a fiancee. I'm... Happy.(sighs) I've made the right choice. Isn't it?"-he flashed a fake smile.

"Yeah. (Scratch his head) It's all thanks to you. If you hadn't helped me to play as my fake boyfriend. Jimin won't notice me neither, he'll fell for me."

JK's POV:

"Well, that I won't agree. JK, people will always find reasons to love you. You're unique for who you are. And... That's an enough reason to___ love you."-,his expression becomes a little bit lonelier.

"Well. I guess, you're right. So, umm... Is this finally a goodbye? I mean, we're finally free..."-I sighed deeply and smiled towards Taehyung.

"Yeah, right?... But, you're the one who's free now. For me, I was never claimed by anyone. And you,____ for your dumb reason. You shouted to the whole campus that you're my boyfriend, the last time I remember (I smiled remembering it). But, we're still friends right?"- I asked him.

"Y-yeah... I mean_____, we're still friends. So, until we meet again?"-he asked while still staring to the floor.

I am biting my upper lips now. Probably to stop the tears from pouring down.

"Better go now. Someone's waiting for you... One last time, please. Can you do me a favor?(he turns his back) Promise me that, I'll have a safe place in your heart. That, even if we're not going to see each other again... I'll still be a friend who has a special place in your heart... Please?"-his voice cracked a little.

"Tae...(I hold his arm wrist) Is there something I didn't know? I mean, are you going somewhere?"- I asked confused and bothered.

"(He let me see half of his face and curved a boxy smile). I... I'm just going to relax. Maybe a______ long vacation. I'll just miss you, maybe."

"Ohh?... Don't worry, I'll be by your side no matter what happens. And you, you already have a special place in my heart.(without noticing, I hugged him from the back)"

"It's nice to know that, JK. Now... I'll have a peaceful sleep."-then without looking back. He broke the hug and walked away.

Taehyung's POV:

As I am walking away from him. I know, it's only the right thing to do. To let him go. To, make him happy. And to set him free. Countless tears are pouring down. My heart was broken into pieces.

I knew the consequences of falling in love with him. Of dreaming that, someday he'll fell for me too. But, what I'm not aware of is this thing. I never expected it to come. First because, I believed he has fallen for me already. That he feels the same with me.
