The Keyhole

"Yes, I have a room reserved here under the name Enji Todoroki. We'll be staying for two nights" Enji said to the receptionist in the front desk. Shoto's attention was elsewhere, looking at the hotel his father had decided they would be staying at. It was one of those five star hotels that looked fancy, from the staff to the style and appearance.

His father had a meeting to attend and this place was the location where it was happening. Enji decided to bring Shoto along since the hotel was quite far from where they lived and according to him, his son needed to get out more. Fuyumi and Natsuo couldn't come since they were both too busy with their own affairs so it was just him and his dad.

Shoto felt uncomfortable at first but his mom and sister have been telling him to bond with Enji more so he relented. Plus his dad didn't want to leave him home alone so it also made him feel obliged to come. The receptionist gave them a practiced smile "Here's your key sir, your room number is 113, on the 4th floor. Would you like to pay with cash or credit?" she asked.

Enji took out his credit card and handed it to the woman. Shoto had to stop himself from grinning 'He's never gonna find out about the time I stole his credit card'  he thought to himself. That was a whole other story but the point is he got away with it. The receptionist handed the credit card back to Enji. "Enjoy your stay" she said politely.

Before the father and son left, the lady stopped them. "Oh, um, I almost forgot but next to your room there is a locked suite with no number. Entrance to that room is prohibited and please don't try to look through the keyhole either" the woman looked quite shaken when she told them that. Enji simply nodded while Shoto felt his curiosity peak.

When they reached the 4th floor, they found the Room 113. Enji unlocked the door and with a click it opened. The room itself looked quite plain to him but it was pretty big.

They got inside with their luggage

They got inside with their luggage. Shoto jumped on the bed and sprawled out. "Why does your meeting place have to be so far? I feel jet lagged and we didn't even ride on a plane or jet" He said in a tired tone. They traveled by bus and train just to get here. "The client lives around these parts so we had to come to them" Enji responded, taking off his blazer.

Shoto snorted "What a location, but at least they have a pool and jacuzzi here" he disliked having to travel so far unless he actually liked the place they were going to or was in the mood for it but he could take advantage of the things this five star hotel had to offer so that was a plus for him. "Eh, you could meet someone new here. There's plenty of kids your age all around" Enji said removing his tie.

"We've been over this, I have friends and I don't need to 'get out more' so all of you can put a sock in it" He stuck his tongue out childishly which made Enji chuckle. Shoto's family often nagged him to be less introverted and be more outgoing. It honestly drives him crazy especially when his mom would side with them. There's nothing wrong with being introverted.
