Chapter ten: Unfair Ball

The X Tornado seems to be running really great since we installed the Chaos Emerald. This has just to be about the smoothest flight I've ever been on. Huh? I said as the Chaos Emerald starts to glow. I think it's picked up on something. Ahh! I start to say but then the X Tornado starts shaking uncontrollably. I can't control it something's pulling us off-course maybe it's another Chaos Emerald. Ergh! I yelled as I try to gain control of the plane. Stop! Stop! some old guy try's to stop me by waving his arms in front of his face but I just fly right over his head just in the nick of time before I ran him over. Better go down there. I said as I was able to turn the plane around and landed the plane once I do I head over to the stadium once I'm there I walk into the Stadium and is amazed by its views then I see the same old guy trying to operate a mowing vehicle. Excuse me, sir! Hello? Yo! I yelled to get his attention Huh? Ah,keep away! he said a little scared. Huh, I'm sorry. It's just that I'm in my plane and the Chaos Emerald started glowing and- don't worry mister. I won't hurt ya. I said with a smile. Sure is some story, little fella. Never would've guessed that was you flying that plane up there. the old guy said. I'm sorry if I frightened you just now, sir. I've never seen a stadium as pretty as this before. You know, the grass is practically glowing! I said. Thanks for the compliment. Lots of folks say that turf here in Diamond Stadium is the best in the world, which makes me happy because I've been the groundskeeper in Diamond for 30 years. the groundskeeper said. 30 years? I asked in shock. You bet! Only I'm afraid that today's my last day here at the ol' place. You see, the Diamond's manager who wants to build an indoors stadium with artificial turf so this place is gonna be demolished. I'll tell you, leaving this place behind feels like the end of an era. By the way, little fella, did you mention something about an emerald? the groundskeeper asked. Yeah. I started to say as I pull out the Chaos Emerald. See, I'm looking for an emerald just like this one. It's called a "Chaos Emerald". I finished. A what? Would this be what you're looking for? the groundskeeper asked as he too pulls out a chaos emerald. Ah, a Chaos Emerald! I exclaimed I saw it laying next to the dumpster a couple of nights ago. Wasn't sure of what it was. the groundskeeper said then the two Chaos Emeralds starts glowing making a bright light then shoots straight up into the night sky.

What is this? Is this magic? the  Civilians asked.  I know that light. Knuckles said to himself. Dr. Eggman! Dr. Eggman! You might want to take a look at this, sir! Decoe said as he stood by the window.  What is that light? Eggman asked as he walked over towards the window to get a better view.  It appears to be coming from the baseball stadium. Decoe said.  A stadium, you say? Fascinating! Eggman said as he opens a drawer and pulls out a ball. I have a feeling that there's an emerald out in that Diamond! Eggman said.

It's been a few hours sense I had told every my past well everyone except grandpa that is sense he already knew Chris, mom and dad would have already known but Merlin  had made them forget and made them have continuously celebrate  my sixteenth birthday but now Chris know's the truth they also know about mine and Sonic's engagement  to say that they were happy was an understatement they were  they were beyond excited  we'll anyways as of right now we are  all are sitting in the dinning room to learn good manners. Now, let's start with the first course. Which knife and fork do we use? Ella asked us.  Uh... these! Amy said as she picked up the right silverware.  I agree. Cream said with Cheese cries in agreement as she too picks up the same silverware.  Right. You're such smart children and what good manners! Ella complemented.  I don't see why do we need to learn all this etiquette baloney in the first place. Sonic said as he eats a apple with his hands. Our mom says it's important to learn good manners so we can eat properly. Chris said.  Well I've never learned anything about manners and I've been eating my whole life. Sonic said as he takes another bit of his apple. Sonic, try to use your fruit knife. Mr. Tanaka said as he bend over Sonic's shoulder. I wonder what's keeping Tails. He should be back by now. grandpa said right after he said that Bokkun came in Laughing. Sorry, I didn't know it was meal time but Dr. Eggman's got a real important message for ya! Bokkun said as he pulls out a t.v.  Argh, not again! Sonic complained not that I blamed him as cute as Bokkun is these message from the Doc are annoying.  How dare you barge in on us like this! You need to learn some manners. Mr. Tanaka scolded.  Eh, that's what you say! Bokkun said with an uncaring attitude then he played the message.  Good evening, Sonic. I suggest you take a look out your window. Egghead said.  Window?! me and Sonic asked as we all went to the window and Sonic  opens it. What is it? grandpa asked.  That light is coming from a Chaos Emerald. Cream said. No not one Emerald. I said.  Are they right? Chris asked. Yeah their right it's not one Chaos Emerald. Sonic said.  Correct we both want those emeralds but why not be good sports about it? That's why I suggest that you suite up, and meet me over at the Diamond Stadium. Egghead said. Diamond Stadium?! Mr. Tanaka asked.  What for? grandpa asked.  I challenge you and your friends to a game of winner-take-all baseball! Egghead said then he did his stupid Laugh. You guys might be a little rusty, so how about some batting practice? Bokkun said. Uh oh...Sonic said as he lightly pushes me behind him to protect me just as Bokkun starts batting numerous balls right at Sonic while he was protecting me everyone else try was trying to avoid them. This is why I don't play sports well excepted soccer and why I was a cheerleader. I said. 'Speaking of witch.' I thought as I just sent a text to my friends from my old cheerleading team after I had just got done texting them Ella comes over and picks up Bokkun while I went up stairs to change into my cheerleading uniform.
