IVORY’S POV

“Ivory, you’ll be late” My mom yelled from downstairs. I looked at myself in the mirror, I was wearing a blue shirt that drapes off one shoulder with a black camisole. A black high waist Jean with a dark blue belt, and black high-tops sneakers. I added a long beaded necklace, a baby heart shaped earring and periwinkle and black bracelets. I grabbed my blue school bag and rushed downstairs.
“I’ll miss you so much” My mom said pulling me into a tight hug.

“I’ll miss you too, mom but let’s get going or I’ll be late” I said pulling away from the hug.
My mom rolled her eyes and put her hands on her hips “Now you think about being late. Get in the space car and let’s go.” I ran out of the floating house and sat down in the space car.
I am so excited that I was finally going to master my powers and meet new people. I rarely go out of my house I usually just stay in my room and watch my favorite TV series, I’m still amazed by the intellect of these humans to create a television. Years ago humans and aliens were at war until someone brought peace among both races and blah blah blah history and stuff but the point is we aliens get most of our resources from humans like clothes, shoes and many others.

<BANG>

my thoughts were interrupted by my mom who had just entered the car.
“Destination Allienville academy” My mom said and started driving.
I just plugged my earpiece in my ears, Music on, world off. I don’t know how long I zoned out but now I'm certain we had been driving for 2 hours’ now
“Mom, are we there yet?” I asked

“Not yet but soon” She replied.

She drove down a dark alley somewhere no one came; I’ve
never been to this school but why was it such a dark place like this? She turned left and kept going forward going deeper into the darkness she finally stopped and I realized we were in the middle of nowhere, great just what I needed (sarcasm)
“Mom we’re definitely lost; do you even know where we are?” I asked panicking

“Of course I do, just get down from the space car” My mom said with smug look on her face, probably happy that I was panicking but I have to trust her. I opened the door carrying my school bag and stepped out graciously, that’s if you call opening the door and almost falling down gracious. I looked around and the place was deserted I looked at my mom and she motioned for me to go forward. I breathed heavily and moved forward and then I saw the most amazing view ever it was a huge white building even bigger than two butterscotches (big grown bears combined together). It had different beautiful flowers all around the school, but how? I ran back and the amazing view was gone I was back to the deserted place where my mom was.
“There was a barrier around the school” My mom said and smiled she hugged me but not as tight as before

“I have to be strong, I’ll miss you so much”
I hate seeing her like this it’s usually just the two of us at home but with me leaving to go to boarding school at Allienville will change this. Before she could start crying (because I hate seeing her cry) I pulled away from the hug and smiled at her trying to make her see that I would be alright I had to look strong for her.
“I’ll miss you too, mom” I said and looked at her for the last time before I walked over to the school still in awe by everything I saw. I avoided making eye contact with anyone that’s the
least I want now. As I was walking my lane I hit some girl causing her to stumble backward I looked up and saw a female alien probably my age she had white hair and moderate mulberry eyes. She was wearing a blue and cyan dress and she had pink lips.

“I am so sorry” I apologized

“Watch where you’re going, ten thousand aliens die for this.” She said talking about herself what did she just say?

“I'm sure they do” I said rolling my eyes. I was getting frustrated with her she could just accept my apology and we continue our normal lives but she has to drag it out.
