THE CHOSEN ONE

CHAPTER 6: A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS

I woke up to laughing I walked out of the tent to see my friends cooking something with a fire they had started.

"Good morning sleepy head" Crystal said

"Hey" I said taking my seat on the log

"So what's the plan for today?" Ruby asked

"Maybe we could leave after breakfast" I said

"Sounds good" Ivaylo said biting into her coral slime sandwich. I grabbed my bag and looked for food in my bag and saw an intrasapod bar, it'll have to do I ate it all and wiped my hands with a towel I saw in my bag.

"Are you ready to go, Ivory?" Ruby asked

"Yeah" I said standing up from the log "Who packed the tent?"

I did" Ivaylo said

"Alright let's get going" I said and we began to walk. Iris kept singing and we all joined her it was really fun. We arrived at the alsono forest with red and pink trees they were so beautiful

We were walking through the forest
when all the trees set ablaze, we ran and went our separate ways in the forest but the fire captures us. My fear soars as I watch it grow. It spits at me like hot, boiling venom. It eats through my jacket of blue denim. I scream as it burns through my skin, then at last the fire becomes thin. I breathed loudly I looked at my skin it was burned but it was healing my body was probably healing its self. I stood up even though my body still hurt I had to find my friends I walked through the forest and the first person I saw was Ivaylo she was on the floor but she was still breathing, her body was covered with scars and burns. I knelt down and touched her hand and tapped her gently.

"Ivory" Ivaylo said opening her eyes
I pulled her off the ground and put her hand around my neck that way I was assisting her with walking. We saw Crystal and Ruby together that saved us a lot , their sleeves were burnt off and they looked terrible. At that time most of my injuries were healed and I could move my legs and hands better now. We chose a spot in the middle of the forest, I set up the tent, Ivaylo got some fire wood, Ruby cut down a tree so that we could sit down and Crystal started a fire.

I went to Ivaylo and healed her, her scars and burns were gone. Ruby's injuries weren't so bad she had the least amount of injuries I healed her too and all of her burns were gone. Crystal had the worst amount of injuries on her hands and legs and parts of her face. I saw a form of tattoo on her hand it was a giant Z

It was nice I was about to ask her about it when Ruby asked

"Where is Iris?"

"Iris?" Ivaylo asked

"Where is Iris, we didn't see her in the forest and now she's missing, we don't have any cloths or food due to the mysterious fire this is all my fault" I panicked as I started pacing around

"It's not your fault, you need to calm down everything is going to be fine" Crystal said

"No, everything isn't going to be fine don't say that how are we going to survive out here not everything is going to be sunshine and rainbows" I said

"Stop!" Ivaylo screamed  "Everything is going to be fine you just have to believe it" Ivaylo said

Okaayy, I just freaked out. Ivaylo grabbed my bag and began looking through it she smiled

"I've got good news and bad news, the bad news is that all your food was burnt to ashes but the good news is that the book is A-OK" Ivaylo said giving me the book

It wasn't even burnt, I looked through the pages trying to find something that will help me to find Iris. I stumbled upon a page that said it could help me find something that as been lost and in this case it's Iris. We just need something of hers.

"I found something that can help us but we need something that belongs to Iris" I said

"This are Iris shoes" Ivaylo said removing her shoes. But why would she take Iris shoes? We have more important things to think about right now

I took the shoes from her and placed it in front of me I recited what was in the book

"What I lost, help me to find;  so I may restore my piece of mind . Bring it to sight.
Bring it so I may see.
Show me where it might be or what happened to it"

Immediately a vision appeared to me. It was Iris she was unconscious on the ground someone in black came, I couldn't see their face the person took Iris away before the vision ended I saw a huge floating castle and the vision ended.

"What'd you see?" Ivaylo asked

"Iris was kidnapped by someone in black and I think she was taken to a huge castle" I said

"She must have been taken to Zagan's castle" Ruby said

"But why?"I asked

" I don't know but we have to get her" Ivaylo said

"It's just going to be a trap" Ruby said

"We have go and save her" Crystal said

"Ivory, what do you think?" Ivaylo said

"We have to go and save her, I won't forgive myself if something bad happened to her" I said

"So it's settled we are going to Zagan' s castle tomorrow" Crystal said

"What if he comes after us" Ruby asked

"We'll take turns I'll take the first watch, Crystal can take the second, Ivaylo you can take the third while Ruby can take the last watch" I said

"Sounds good, I'm going to head to bed now, goodnight see you later" Ivaylo said entering the tent followed by Ruby and Crystal. I just sat there and stared at the fire, I got kind of bored with that and decided to sing I didn't want to disturb everyone else's sleep so I hummed instead.

"Hey" A voice said it was Crystal

"Hi" I replied as she took a seat beside me we just stared at the fire for some time before she asked

"Aren't you scared of fighting Zagan?"

"Of course not. The prophecy said I am the one who will bring balance to the Force by destroying the forces of evil. Which means that I will win the battle its my destiny so there's no reason for me to fear" I said

"We just saw a beautiful forest burn along with every creature in it and you're still not afraid of Zagan and what he can do?" Crystal asked

"Nope" I stated

"You shouldn't get to cocky or overconfident you never know what can happen" Crystal said

"Anyways I'm going to bed, bye"I said and went into the tent and slept off.
