IVORY’S POV
I awoke in a comfortable bed and the first words that came to my head were ‘omnikenisis’ and
‘chosen one’ but what did it mean . The first person I saw was my mom, what was she doing here?
and many other strangers surrounded me.
“She’s awake” My mom said, eyes widening. She held my hand, my hand hurt so much there were so many aching bones.
“I’ll go tell the others.” A girl said and dashed out of sight. With great effort, I turned my head.
“We weren’t sure if you were going to return to us, Ivory” A wrinkly white woman grinned down at me, she looked like oh no the principal why was she here? “It was just a few days”
Days?
“She’s going to recover, isn’t she, Healer Mavis?” My mom asked a tall woman with red hair.
A tall young male alien stood on the other side of the healer, his arms folded across his chest said
“Yes, ma. I believe she will. If she would like to prove it, though, a few words wouldn’t hurt” I didn’t have the energy but Healer Mavis knelt down beside the comfortable bed and put her hand on my head giving me some of her power, strengthening me for a moment. When I had the energy to talk I said the first word in my head
“Omnikinesis” I said and everyone began to whisper among themselves.
The principal whispered something to a girl I didn’t know and the girl dashed out of the room.
“Ivy!” Iris, Azzahra, Violet and Ivaylo dashed into the room and gave a whoop of delight with a
smile lighting up their faces.
“We were worried about you.”. Seeing Iris brought everything
back. She leaped up into my arms and rolled me backward.
“Now, now, missy"
Healer Mavis grabbed Iris around the middle and dragged her back.
“Ivory is in a fragile state”
“She’s fine" Iris said with a dismissive wave of her hand.
“Look at her – she’s a normal color now and everything”
“How long have I been asleep?” I asked
“Hmm” Ivaylo said counting her fingers “Five days” She said showing five fingers.
Five days?!!!
Sam entered the room and stood beside The principal
“What spell did you cast on Ivory?”
The principal asked
“She told me that she didn’t know her powers so I casted a spell to help her find it wasn’t meant to hurt but it did. The book said that I just say the incantations and the first word that
comes to her mind is her power” Sam explained
“The first word she said was omnikenisis meaning that her power is omnikenisis but how can
we prove it?" The principal asked
“What is omnikenisis? I asked curiously
“Raphael go and get the dictionary of powers" The principal ordered a boy with grey eyes and brown hair he should be like around one to two years older than me. He dashed out of the room and came back immediately with a big brown book, I guess his powers is super speed.
“Thank you Raphael, now open the word omnikenisis” Raphael opened the big book and started flipping through the pages.
“Omni…. Omni…. Omni” He kept saying as he flipped through the book “Aha!” He exclaimed “I found it, omnikenises is the powers of all powers, it is the ability to manipulate everything."
