Hayes P.O.V

We started to walk back to the inside of the school and I saw my brother Nash with a worried look on his face.

"Dude where were you?" He got up and walked over to us.

"I was talking to Kelli about football, yeah, fun," I said while scratching my neck.

"Mmkay, well let's go," He said.

KELLI'S P.O.V

We arrived at my house and they let me out.

"You sure you don't want to stay with us?" Hayes asked.

"I'm fine," I said while picking up my bookbag.

"Let me get your number just to check up on you," He insisted.

I smirked at him and put my number in his phone then went in my house. Instantly I got a message from hayes.

Hayes😜: you didn't tell me it was your birthday!!!

Kelli😒: srry it didn't really matter.

Hayes😜: yes it does I'm buying you a present.

Kelli😒: kk well see you on Monday.

Hayes😜: nope tommorow, I know where you live😈 jkjk

I smiled at that last text and replied.

Kelli😒: Okay?

Then I went in my room and changed. I put on my pjs and layer in my bed. Why did he change? He is such a sweetheart, but I don't feel love. I don't even know what it is, I don't feel love for him, or maybe I do. I just don't KNOW!
