Kidnapped By Pirates

Chapter 4

Luciana’s POV

“Jake! Come out come out wherever you are! No matter where you are, I will find you!” I screamed while looking around, a big smirk plastered on my face.

Me and Jake are playing hide and seek. And I will find him. I saw a shadow creeping up behind the deck and I simply assumed it was Jake. Even if it wasn’t, it would be better. I ran up to the owner of the shadow and jumped on him. “Gotcha’!” I screamed as I pinned the person down. I paled when I looked at the person who is currently underneath me.

“Oh shit” I mumbled under my breath before I got off of Captain Leonardo. I pulled my signature smirk again, remembering the plan. “What the hell were you doing!” he screamed as he started to dust off his clothes. I folded my arms over my chest and raised my eyebrow in question.'

“Um……..What does it look like? Me and Jake are playing hide and seek and you got in my way and had to bear the consequences.” I said and he stared at me in shock before he let out an angry sigh with a surprised smile that holds anger.

“I……..Got in your way? Really?” he said and I nodded.

“Yep! Now if you’ll excuse me…..i have to look for Jake. We are playing hide and seek” I said and looked by his shoulders only to find Jake staring at me from afar. I smirked. “There you are! Here I come!!!” I screamed before running pass Leonardo and after Jake who started laughing and running away.

“Get back here you twerp!” I screamed as I chased Jake, leaving Leonardo standing there, dumbfounded. Jake stopped and so did I. We both tried to hold in our laughter before we high-fived each other. “Did you see the look on his face? We are so gonna be outta here in no time!” I said and Jake nodded.

Me and Jake made up our new escape plan. We are gonna keep annoying the crew, especially the captain, until he will get annoyed of us and just simply let us go! It’s simple and yet, hard to realize. We came to a conclusion that he won’t throw us overboard since he hasn’t killed or injured anybody yet. He obviously has a soft spot and we are taking advantage of it.

He seems to be annoyed of the two of us already! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! We’ll be outta here in no time! “Wanna go back to the room? I feel sleepy” he said and I nodded. We walked back to the room and went to sleep after we took a shower each and then brushed our teeth before going to our own bed. We had a whole room prepared for us with two beds, a bathroom and a closet. My bed is near the window. I fell asleep looking out at the stars.

I woke up; looking outside seeing it was only after midnight. I growled and tried to go back to sleep but stayed there for over 30 minutes, eyes wide open. I sighed, getting up and heading towards the door, making sure not make any noise as I saw Jake’s adorable sleeping face.

I closed the door behind me and made my way towards the deck. There is no one, and I mean absolutely no one on deck. No watch guards or anyone at all. These people are just so……..carefree.

They think that no one can attack them at night. They do have a point because the only ship that attacks at night are pirate’s ship and if there were pirates planning on attacking this ship, then they are stupid because they can recognise the ship straight away to be the most powerful pirate’s ship, Captain Leonardo’s Ship.

They would just be idiots to attack this ship. I walked inwards the deck and noticed a hanging from one of the Topmasts (Note: picture of Topmast on the side. It’s basically the long, wooden pole on the ship).I smirked as I walked up towards it.

I pulled the rope down, making sure that it can handle weight before I held on to it and climbed up once. I wrapped the dangly bit of the rope around my right leg so when I climb up, I have the end going up with me. I climbed up pretty high and released one hand, while holding on with the other.
