THIRD PERSON POV
Roger left an hour ago to get groceries and Brian wished he didn't leave. Brian stared down at the open letter in front of him.
Dear my dearest brother Brian, I'm sorry I did this over a letter. But mother has passed, she passed on February 7th at 3:47 pm, she had a heartattack, can you fucking believe that. We want to visit soon, I give you my love.
Love, John (AN this is his actual brothers name, we arent talking about John deacon)
Brian started shaking staring down at the letter, tears filling his eyes. He looked over at the phone, he dialed his brother's number and waited for an answer. He answered after two rings, "Hello?" He said quietly obviously still upset about the passing. "Why didn't you call me." Brian said quietly, "Bri, I-" "Why didnt you call me." Brian said louder, "I-" "You have my fucking number, why didnt you call me!" Brian yelled into the phone, tears now streaming down his face. "I- I couldn't Bri." "Bullshit!" Brian yelled. "I just couldn't I couldn't deal with having to listen to your cries, I couldn't Brian. I'm sorry, I really am." Brian didn't answer he just cried listening to his baby brother explain what happened. "Why, why did she have a heartattack." Brian said loud enough so his brother could hear. He could hear John sigh, "No one knows, honestly. She just dropped dead." Brian heard John sniffle. Brian couldn't deal with this. "I, I got to go, love you." Brian said quietly, "I love you too, be safe Bri please, don't do anything you'll regret." Brian nodded even though John couldn't see it. Brian hung up and stepped away from the phone, his whole body was shaking. His back slid down the wall, he hugged his knees and violently sobbed.
Roger walked through the door, "Baby I'm home! I got you strawberry icecr-" Roger stopped talking once he saw Brian curled up on the floor. Roger put down the bags and his keys and rushed over to his sobbing boyfriend. "Hey, hey baby, Bri, look at me. What happened baby?" Roger pulled Brian into a hug, "I-I can't breathe." Brian whispered, "Hey, okay. Follow my breathing in, and out." Roger put Brian's hand on his chest to feel his heartbeat to calm him down. "Picture something nice, do you remember our 5 month anniversary, do you remember all those stars, and the cold breeze, and the wonderful wine?" Brian nodded he wanted to smile but he just couldn't. "Or how about on new years, when we kissed in front if all those people, and we hung out with Freddie." Brian nodded again, "Or on halloween when we all dressed up in drag, and you wore those big bunny slippers, and John was a old lady, and that funny wig that Freddie wore." Brian smiled a little at that, "There's that beautiful smile!" Roger said, "Do you want to talk a little bit about what happened?" Brian sighed amd sniffled a little, "M-my mum, she-she.." Brian couldn't finish his sentence without sobbing, Roger understood though. Roger hugged him tighter, "It's gonna be okay baby, just remember those good moments, okay?" Brian nodded against his shoulder, he tried to match Roger's breathing and after a while he was only sniffling.
"We don't have to talk about it Bri." Brian nodded and thanked him quietly. "Do you want to watch a documentary and eat some ice cream? I got you favorite." Roger said with a smirk, Brian nodded slowly.
They cuddled up in a soft blanket ate ice cream amd watched at least 5 documentaries of Brian's chocie. "I love you baby, you'll get through this." Brian cuddled against Roger as close as he could, Roger placed a small kiss on Brian's forehead, "I love you." Brian said quietly, "I love you too."
