Chapter 1: Goodbye

Izukus pov

As we walked to my apartment I told her all about my mum, everything she's done for me, her supporting me all my life and even going as far as to lurn sigh language herself to talk to him.

As we made our way up the stairs I noticed an odd smell coming from in front of me it smelled... Metallic. I started to get worried as the smell got stronger the closer we got to the door. 'maybe she just cut herself' I reassured myself as I got out my key and open the door. My heart stops

I see my mother laying on the ground with cuts covering her head to toe, burn marks littered her body, an eye hanging out of its sockit and her arms and legs bent in ways they shouldn't. I drop to my knees as I look at the person who did this.

He had black hair styled similarly to mine, a black coat that reached down to the floor with matching black trousers, a knife with blood on it. He turned around and sighed fire leaving his lips as he did.

Murderer-"oh well would you look at that the disappointment has arrived" he said in a condescending voice "and would you look at that he brought a friend looks like they get to die to" he finished pointing his knife at toga

Toga's pov

I was about to take out my knife and stab the guy but then izu slowly rose from the ground as he started to change, his limbs grew in length as they became thinner and thinner eventually the skin on his torso gave way as parts of his ribcage broke through it same with his arms with the skin looking more like fluffy fingerless gloves, his bony fingers sharpened, an identical transformation happened to his legs, a tail sprouted off his lower back looking like an extension to his spine with a bladed bone on the end, but what changed the most was izu's face, the flesh tore itself off as his jaw elongated, his teath sharpened as they grew in length as well, his eyes sunk into his skull as two glowing lights took there place and two small antlers poked up off of his skull.

Izu take a step forward as the man takes a step back, he takes a breath in most likely going to use his quirk, izu quickly slash his throat stopping him from using his quirk, izu grabs his shoulder and bring him closer to himself as izu open his mouth, he chomped down on his head as izu yank his head back taking his head clean off with a small bit of his spine coming with it.

Izu bit down on his head a few more times before swallowing it. Izu continued to eat the man's body and everytime he bit into a bone I flinched. He was about halfway down his body when I decided to speak

Me-"u-um i-izu?" I ask taking small steps towards him

I was no more than five steps away from him when he turned around and tackled me to the ground. I was terrified until I heard whimpering next to me. I look to my side and see Izu crying so I do the only thing I could and hugged him back and within a few seconds he started turning back. I breath a sigh of relief as we sit there in the bloody apartment for what felt like hours.

Me-"you ok now izu?" I ask breaking the hug and putting my hands on his shoulders.

Izu-"y-ya I-I just l-lost myself for a second" he says wiping a tear off his face

Me-"so what are we going to do about the bodies?" I ask as I point at his mums and what's left of the mans

Izu-"leave the murderers here and we'll bury my mums somewhere nice" he says giving a death glare to the mans body

Me-"before we do that do you want to change your voice so that if this guy has friends then they won't know it was you even if you could kill them in seconds?" I asked and he nodded "so whos voice are you going to use?" I ask as he looks at me
