"I'll tell you everything I promise, just sit down okay?"

She nods taking a seat. I poured her tea and take a deep breath.

"A few months ago I ran into some trouble. A villain was trying to rob me and I was defenceless..." I push past my mothers gasp.

"A hero saved me. Just not a normal hero. They were a vigilante. Ah but they were so kind. They checked me over and walked me home. In that time we chatted and became friends sorta."

More deep breaths. I can't help but scold myself. Lying to my mother. The one person that loves me accepts me. Can't I just be honest.
And give her a heart attack? Throw 16 years down the drain. Ruin potentially anything! No way your dumb but not that much. It's a hard reality but my head is right. I just can't worry her more. She doesn't deserve it.

"So a few weeks later when I bumped into them,  they asked a favour I just couldn't refuse. They needed me to deliver a letter to someone. It was easy enough that I agreed and did it.

This when on for a while until we were basically seeing each other every week. We built up trust. I can help them and they help me. So when they came to me one day about a child that needed a home..."

"You couldn't say no... Izuku you are just like yagi, such a kind heart."

I can barely hide the grimace as she compares me to him. Again I don't hate him but after that day... you see what I mean.

"Yeah I just couldn't. Her backstory, what's she's been through. She needs a home. I can give that to her. But-"
"I was waiting for the but, out with it Izuku what is she? The yakuza's daughter?" She laughs at that. I can only watch as her face falls.

"WHAT? Izuku we we can't I mean we're all going to die. We have to hand her over we can't keep-"
"Mom! I knew the risks and made a plan. I have everything sorted out.
I'm going to say she's my daughter. I'll dye her hair green to match mine. I'm also going to get her a headband with a horn on to match hers. I also decided to make her name longer. I was thinking Yumeri
That was we can keep Eri without it being suspicious." I rambled on and on about all my plans ignoring anything else. "Okay."

"What?" I reply. Am I hearing this right? She said okay?  "I said okay. She can stay. For once I want to be the hero." I smile at her. "Oh mama you were always a hero."

The next day I wake up to Eri in my arms. I'm not complaining it's a beautiful way to wake up. "Hay Eri? Wake up okay we have a busy day!"
She rolls over rubbing her eyes. "M'mommy?" I'll never get used to that! "Yes hun? Are you hungry?" She perks up at the sound of food. "Yes! Yes! Eri is hungry" I giggle picking her up "okay let's gooooo~!" I run out of my room to the kitchen where my mama was. "Hi mama!" I say happily. "Eri this is Aunti Inko. Say hi." Eri waves shyly. "Hello Eri. Would you like some rice?"

Over breakfast we all got to know each other better. Eri asking questions and me and mama answering as best we can. "So Eri is it okay if I give you a makeover?" She tilts her head. "M-makeover?"
"Yeah. I'm going to give you hair like me. And new clothes!" "Hair like mommy?" I nod exactly. "Okay!" She says drinking the last of her milk.

Once we were ready my mama and I dyed eri's hair it atually turned out really well she kinda looks like a secretly love child of me and kacchan. With the green wavy hair red eyes. Ah no bad Izuku. I've been with todoroki too much. Blah.

Anyway back to the adorable little princess in front of me. "Eri you look so pretty! Woah!" I say as she spins around. I bought her some new clothes and one was a pink half dress like I have. She immediately fell in love with it and is dancing around all over that place.

"Eri do you want to come with me tomorrow?" She stops dancing and runs over. "Where are you going Mommy?" She asks. I ruffle her hair. "I need to go to work. I own a cafe. You can come if you'd like and colour in the back. I'll introduce you to my friends and kacchan!" I say exited already. "Ah daddy!" I freeze blushing hard. "Ah yeah haha.." I say. I forgot I called Kacchan daddy. He's so gonna kill me for that. Too late now.
