Harry Potter, The Bronze Boy

My heart will go on

(A/N: The long awaited  part 1 of Harry Potter, the bronze boy. This originally was going to be separate parts  but I decided  against that and thus  mashing prologue and  chapter 1 in one part. The song above is the theme song from James Cameron's Titanic. But so I can get away with using modern day songs this HP fanfic is as if HP was set in early 2000s I know that Chloe Grace Moretz wasn't born until 1997 but I'm just saying if Warner bros  did a set of HP prequels set during the Marauders era I would want Chloe Grace Moretz to be Lily. )

Chapter 1: My Heart will go on

October 31st 1991

Lily Potter was in the kitchen clearing up the dishes from dinner. James Potter was playing with hiss son Harry. James was making multicolored bubbles come out of his wand and the sounds of laughter filled the house. But pretty soon there would be no happy laughter only maniacal  laughter and sobs.

"James it's time for Harry to chill out now." Lily Potter chided her husband as she came into the living room.

"Fine Lils."  James replied sighing before turning to Harry.  "Mama says it's time for you calm down now."  Harry listened to his da and started to sulk.

"I know little man but tomorrow Uncle Padfoot and Moony will be coming."

"Pa' foo' ? Mooy? Tomwow?"

"Yes." Lily said while sitting down on the couch next to her son and husband. The family of three's relaxed tranquility was soon disturbed. By a moving shadow. this caused Lily to slightly panic. "Jamesy, I'm going to take Harry upto bed. I don't like the way that looked. I'll stay with him."

"Very well my love. I'll check the wards quickly and then we'll go and sit in the nursery all together."  Lily nodded and together they headed to the stairs. That was when they saw the shadow that had passed the window moments ago was at their door. Too their horror said shadow was not a shadow at all but Lord Voldemort himself.

"LILY! IT'S HIM TAKE HARRY AND RUN! I'LL FEND HIM OFF!"

"JAMES!"

"NO LILY DON'T STALL GO NOW!"  James ordered they quickly shared a kiss and Lily ran up the stairs clutching Harry she reached the top and saw James with his wand out ready.

"JAMES I LOVE YOU!"

"I LOVE YOU TOO MY LILY FLOWER. NOW GO!"  Lily didn't need telling anymore she ran as fast as her legs could carry her and Harry.  Lily slammed the door and heard the distinct sound of James and Voldemort dueling.  

"Collorportus." She said locking the door with a wave of her wand knowing that it was absolutely pointless. She began frantically putting stuff in front of the door forming a barricade between Voldemort and them.  She turned to  Harry and crouched down.

"Harry, Dada loves you. Mama loves you. Harry be safe.. Be strong." Lily whispered. Tears fell down her cheeks as she knew that James was gone.

As Lily finished talking the door to the nursery was blasted in. And Suddenly Lily had a sudden burst of confidence.

"Stand aside!"

"Never."

"Stand aside you stupid girl!"

"No take me instead. Have mercy Tom find it in your stone cold heart to have mercy and spare my son. Even if it means taking me instead."

"Stand aside!"

"What part aren't you getting I'm not moving. Take me and spare my son" Lily pleaded. "Look." She said taking her wand out of her pocket and turning to Harry.

"Harry my darling, this is my wand. Take it and look after it."  She said placing it in Harry's lap. She watched as Harry nodded and his little hands formed a protective fist around his mothers wand.  Lily turned and faced her assailant.

"I'm unarmed and a baby cant do any spells. I'm willing to sacrifice myself as Harry's protection." 

"You stupid mudblood!" Voldemort hissed.  "Avada Kedarva,"  Lily braced herself for the curse that had took  her husband's life to claim hers but instead it never hit her. White light erupted around her. It engulfed her and Harry. Some ancient magic had been awakened by her but what she did not know. There was a thump on the floor and then light went away. Lily looked about the nursery to find the source of the thump and there she saw it. Voldemort's lifeless body lay there  and Harry had a scar on his forehead, in the shape of a lightning bolt. The curse had passed her and hit her son but whatever ancient magic caused the white light had forced the spell to leave Voldemort dead and Harry with a scar. She gulped as she realized what this meant. It meant that the prophecy could now only apply to Harry.

She pulled Harry out of his crib and took her wand back placing it in between her teeth and then she just sat on the floor. All of the events that had just occurred played through her mind.  She barely even noticed Voldemort's body disappear. She didn't know how long she'd sat there with Harry falling asleep on her bosom.  She didn't even hear Sirius when he came in the house or when he crept up the stairs.

It was if she had become deafened by grief.

"Lils?"  Her head snapped up and she grabbed her wand and pointed it at Sirius.

"Turn into Padfoot if you knw what that means." She snapped quietly  and soon a black dog padded over to  Lily's side where he transformed back into Sirius.

"I'm sorry Lils." He said sullenly.  Lily didn't reply she just cuddled into Sirius.  "Let's get you out of here.  Aurors will be here soon."   Sirius continued after a while. Lily begrudgingly moved and passed Harry to Sirius as she then began to pack  stuff for Harry. She packed everything apart from the furniture that had survived the attack. She then realized something.

"Siri where are me and Harry going to go?"

"What do you mean?"

"Obviously we cant stay here but I can't go back to my parents, they are..."

"You can stay in Potter Manor can't you?"

"I suppose so. Could you and Moons move in with us though I can't stand to be there on my own with just Harry and the memories of me and James. And the times we had there?" She asked tears starting to fall again.

Once they were outside  the person that neither of them wanted to see appeared.

"Lils..."

"Don't you dare come near me rat!" She screamed waking Harry up.

"I'm sorry." Peter began to say stepping towards Lily.

"Don'1 take another step in my direction or the direction of my child!"

"Lily..."

"What aren't you getting rat? She doesn't want to see or speak or  even breathe the same air as you!"

"Sirius not you as well..."

"Get away from me! You sold them out! Why?" 

(A/N: Here is part one of the new Harry Potter, the bronze boy. There will be eventual Sirius x Lily and I'm thinking of having that happen two or three years after that Hallows Eve. This means that Harry can get a full blooded sister and then two half-siblings. I cried when writing this part. I also just wanna say that this fanfic and Truth Will Out! Will be the main two I focus on as well as a novel of mine. I hope you liked this part and I hope to see you soon in the next part. This is also kind of a teaser.)
