"Hehe! Not really, we only took select pieces from our last home and sold the rest." Lam answered.
Lam is a bit taller than Beam and visually has a bigger built as shown by the tight tank top that the latter was wearing. He can only be described as a very handsome guy. Facial hair were noticably freshly cut, adding to the more youthful look of their new neighbor.
"Where were you living before phi?" Beam inquired.
"We lived in the next city, in the farthest part of it. But I was assigned in our branch here in this city so my wife and I decided to just move here. At least the office can be reached by foot, it'll save time and money.
"Where's your wife now?", Beam asked further.
"She's still in the province. My mother-in-law got sick so I'm the only one left to do the moving since we can't postpone it anymore. Our last house has a new tenant already."
Beam just nodded.
"Oh well N'Beam, I'll go finish with the moving of our furniture inside. This is gonna be one heavy work." Lam winked and smiled at Beam.
Beam nodded again and he just watched Lam as the latter entered the door beside their apartment. Once Lam was out of sight, Beam returned to his task of watering their plants.
Once done with his chore, Beam went back inside their house to watch tv. He had no school that day and his P'Forth was doing weekend overtime so he had the whole house for himself for the day. Beam removed his shirt and laid down on the couch.
Using the remote, he surfed through the channels until he remembered that he bought a porn dvd last week in Quiapo. Beam sat up and smiled. It was the perfect time to watch it. He rushed to his room to get the dvd from his bag and played it to the component unit back in the living room.
