changmin seemed oddly happy today, or at least in sangyeon's opinion, it was odd. but then again, sangyeon had no idea about how the younger felt about chanhee. to him, the two were only strangers. hell, he barely even knew that changmin was a regular at the cafe now.

"whats got you so happy today, hmm, changmin?" sangyeon had asked, looking up from the cash register that he pretended to be interested in so none of the seventy year old customers would ask him any questions. he didnt hate them, per se, he just couldnt understand what they were saying and would prefer to save himself from the embarrassment of asking them to repeat it over and over again.

changmin looked up from his phone, locking it and setting it down on the counter. he flinched at the feeling of water on his fingertips when he tapped them against said counter. he opened his mouth to reply, having a lie so ready to be said, until someone wrapped an arm around his shoulders, sitting next to him and answering for him.

"i bet its because of me." it sounded like such a sunwoo thing to say, but nope, it was none other than choi chanhee. not to either of the two youngest's surprise, sangyeon looked quite confused.

"huh? chanhee, ddidnt you take the day off today?" he asked. brightly, the pink-haired smiled and nodded. "shouldnt you be taking care of that cold of yours?"

"oh no, im going back to my place, i just wanted to pick up changmin first." at this, the younger brunette blushed. maybe sunwoo was right when he said that the two of them acted like a couple, however, that could just be his chanhee-filled mind acting on its hopes.

"hm, cute. now go off, lovebirds, i dont want chanhee to cough on the counters like he did last time he caught a cold. those customers were not happy when they caught a cold, choi. now shoo, go be boyfriends somewhere else!"

"sangyeon, we're not boyfri—"

"shh, just go along with it, chang." wait, what?
