when changmin woke up, he definitely didnt expect to be in what he assumed was chanhee's room. even if he was the one who brought the two of them there, he still forgot about it in his sleep.

the older was still in his arms when he woke up, and he wanted to keep him there and treasure this moment as long as he could, but he was also starving. what time even was it? the answer? four in the morning. this was... nice. not really, though, he was exhausted but couldnt fall back asleep.

"min, youre staring." oh, great, now he was both exhausted and embarrassed. that was nice. not really. for a reason unknown to the brunette, chanhee didnt sound tired. nor sick, which was good, but it was so early, why wasnt he tired?

"oh, uh, im sorry." there was a stark contrast in their voices, the older's sounding bright and happy while changmin purely sounded dead. "why are you awake?" for a bit, nothing was heard but radio silence, and he was startig to regret asking.

"i have to get ready for work, min." the audacity he had to giggle like that. the younger was starting to wonder if there was ever gonna be an end to his falling. most likely not.

"oh, yeah—"

"sunwoo told me that youre a dancer, is that true?" changmin swore that he was melting just because of the way that chanhee's eyes lit up brighter than the sun.

"yeah, why do you ask?" the last part was just automatic, and suddenly he felt like he was prodding too hard. "you dont have to tell me—"

"theres another place that wants me to sing there this weekend, but one of the dancers got sick yesterday and doesnt think theyll be able to make it, do you think you could substitute?"

"oh, uh—" out of all the things he expected, changmin did not expect that. "yeah, why not."

"oh my goodness, thank you thank you thank you!" changmin smiled shyly

"theres no need to thank me." he would do anything for chanhee.
