with a smirk that changmin oh so wanted to punch off of his face, younghoon decided that it would be a great idea to tell chanhee all about the worsening crush the youngest had on him. changmin definitely felt like running away, and he was starting to plan how he would.
"hm, interesting." interesting? interesting? how was that interesting? he could only assume that meant something bad, most likely along the lines of 'hah, your love is one-sided, loser!' even if he expected it, it still hurt.
"thats very nice of you, younghoon," changmin had gritted out, already moving to get up. "i think i'll be leaving now." well, he wanted to, but chanhee was pushing down on his shoulders to make sure he wouldnt stand up.
"hey, no, stay for a bit." that god damn sweet and soft voice somehow always convinced him to do whatever. he was sure that if he wanted, chanhee could convince him to jump off a cliff to his impending doom. at this point, he wouldnt mind if the other did that right now. "hoon, please."
great, now they were left alone, that couldnt be good for changmin's heart in any way whatsoever.
"uhm, im sorry about that, hes wro—"
"no, changmin, ive heard you before. he isnt wrong. or i at least hope he isnt?" wait, what? changmin was utterly confused now, and he hated how that gave him the smallest bit of hope. it would just be like every other time, he would get hurt. it happened with minho, it happened with gahyeon, why would chanhee turn out any different?
"pardon?" oh, how dumb changmin mustve sounded. and based off that— god curse it for being so beautiful— giggle, he really did sound dumb as fuck. thats always nice to know.
"how dense can you be, ji changmin? do you know how long ive loved you for?"
