Day 35
Another day was upon Kathy. She woke up a little later because it was Sunday. Her and her mother left to a close mall as their usual shopping spree, which they both quite hated to do but had to. There was no reason on why they had to, but they did, and it was fun. They were at Ardène, a girly store. Bianca was sitting on one of the customers chairs while her daughter tried on a few pieces. As ironic as it sounds, she actually liked the store. The mother, on her hand, never has seen so much pink in a store since she has been to her ex's house. Talking about that ex, there she was buying some random bag. The situation was so overwhelmingly awkward that Bianca looked away. Their story was a bit long. It all started a few years ago, 20 to be exact, when Bianca, originally named Brandon, went to a bar with a few of her friends. Things got oddly strange when she realized it wasn't a regular bar, it was a gay one. The thing was, 'Brandon' thought 'he' was into guys only but couldn't let 'himself' go to a gay bar to meet guys. His friends decided to prank him into thinking they were going to a straight bar. Now, the truth is, 'Brandon' is trans and is still in the closet and isn't into guys. His female side was confusing the others into thinking he liked boys. So, they entered the bar, already a bit drunk, as one of 'his' friends pushed 'him' to chat with a guy, an Hawaiian cutie with a blue flannel, some jeans and a sweet-ass afro. The conversation was going so well, they were about to leave for his place. In the end, Brandon choked. It wasn't right, something felt wrong about this situation. The dude seemed alright, but not Brandon. He paid both drinks and went home without his friends. On his way to his hotel room, he saw her. She was wearing a long silky pink gown with some strange flip flops covered in feathers, pink of course. She was trying to pull one of her suitcases, which was clearly stuck on an old carpet in the entrance door. He helped her quickly and had a similar conversation than with the guy at the bar. From a distance, he could see one of his friends, James, a buff blonde boy a year younger than him. He seemed mad. Brandon tried to explain why he left, but the subject of his anger was completely different from what the smaller man though, he was talking to his girlfriend. It got him so mad, Brandon was pushed on a marble wall, his two strong shoulders being crashed by his pal's power. The tall blonde woman was screaming at him to stop, but no success. Wasn't he the one thinking Brandon was gay? The situation became worse when the doorman entered the building and asked why they were fighting. Both got kicked out of the hotel, but Brandon had something James lost a long time ago, the girl's phone number.
- Are you done yet?
- Dad, I'm stuck!
- What do you mean stuck?
- I mean stffsfs...
- Sweetie, I can't hear you.
Bianca got up and walked to the metallic door, trying desperately to ignore the woman. Kathy was, in fact, stuck in a x-small t-shirt. Apparently, she misread the sizing. The mother entered the room to help her out, closing the room's entrance after her. She was pulling the shirt upwards, side wards, downwards. There was no escape from Kathy's bad eye sight. An employee entered after hearing the young adult crying of despair. This shirt was cute and all, but why do they only have it in such sizes? Sadly, not everyone understands her while being in such an uncomfortable spot, including the cashier who thought Bianca was still a man due to her strong jaw and big shoulders. It was the beginning of a never-ending argument on whether Bianca was allowed or not there. A higher placed employee arrived with scissors to finally cut the shirt while the younger woman was still complaining about the mother. It was getting so bad that she even stole the long wig Bianca was wearing, leaving her head bald. Kathy was left half naked trying to reclaim the item while her mom was too close into committing a murder by stealing the pair of scissors and running around the store. Another employee joined the show pulling Bianca on one side while the manager was pulling her employee on the other. Both calmed down. The shirt was thrown in the garbage while Bianca was paying for it and her daughter was getting dressed. On her left side, her ex was still there, trying to ignore the situation. Bianca grabbed Kathy's hand and sprinted out of the store keeping her little bit of cool left. They climbed in the car and went home for supper. Kathy entered her room seeing all her phone's notification while she puts herself in a new pyjama she has bought. Sophie and her became a bit closer since last meeting and even shared some pictures of puppies once. Luckily, this time, it wasn't a cute pug the Haitian girl shared, but one of a guy, an Hawaiian cutie with a blue flannel, some jeans and a sweet-ass afro. It was her brother.
