Chapter 7: Tyler

My god this book is awful I just reread some of it and WOW it really sucks. I can't believe you people read it haha but whatever. I'm finally updating for you guys! It's more of a filler chapter, and I have ideas of where it will go and I promise that I will update again by next Saturday! I never write/update unless someone tells me too so if you want me to continue PLEASE COMMENT AND TELL ME!! Thank you and enjoy!

Aurora's POV

"Aurora? The boys sent me to wake you. We have important news for you," Sharon whispered as she lightly shook me awake. I just groaned in response, it was way too early to be awake. The light blue light of early morning was barely visible in my room.

"Aurora?? Get up! It's very important!"

"Why? Can't you just tell me," I murmured into my pillow.

"No. Now get up!" Sharon said louder than before.

"Yeah, Aurora, you should probably get up," I heard a familiar voice say, "Or else I'm gonna leave without saying hello."

It took me a few seconds to register what he had said, but then I immediately jumped up in the bed and kind of hit Sharon as I did so.

"TYLER!" I yelled as I saw my freckle-faced friend standing in the doorway, smiling.

"Hey, Aurora. You might want to get up now. We need to talk."

"Tyler, you were supposed to wait with the others. It was supposed to be a surprise! At least, that's what Break said." Sharon said as she strolled towards the doorway.

"Well how else were you gonna get her up this early? She was my best friend, you know. I know how difficult it is to wake her up in the morning." Tyler said to Sharon as she left the room and left Tyler and I inside. I ran over to Tyler and we hugged.

"Aurora... I'm so sorry I left," he spoke into my shoulder.

"It's alright. At least you're hear now, right?" I looked up and smiled at him.

He sighed, "Aurora... I-I need to tell you something."

"Oh... Yeah. Sure. What is it?"

"The reason Pandora told your group to find me is because they wanted me to tell you what happens to illegal contractors like us." I sat down at the little table nearby and Tyler sat across from me. He continued to tell me about the incuse and the Chains and Abyss, and strangely enough, I listened the entire time, growing sadder with every word he said. Not because of me (I really don't care if I get sent into Abyss) but because of Tyler and the rest.

"Aurora... I'm almost out of time. Once my incuse moves one more time... I'm gone. I'm so sorry." Tyler said as he began to tear up, clouding his beautiful green eyes.

"But why?!" I knew why.
"I just got you back!" I never thought I would get him back.
"They thought I was crazy!" The people who interrogated me when he left...
"THEY TOLD ME YOU WERE DEAD!" I yelled as tears began to stream down my face.

"I know! I know! I'm sorry! I can't do anything about it. And I'm sorry to say this... But Pandora is taking me back into custody. They only let me come here today." Tyler began to cry as well, only a few tears at first, but eventually he was sobbing into his hands. I stopped yelling and just watched him for a bit, trying to understand exactly how he felt. Only then did I realize how much Tyler did not want to die. He ran his hands through his messy, brown hair and heaved heavy sobs.

"Oh Tyler... Tyler Tyler Tyler I'm so so so sorry," I leaned down and held him to me as he continued to bawl, "I love you so much, you know that." He cried into my shirt and held onto me, it almost seemed like he would collapse if he didn't.

"I-I j-j-just don't w-want t-to leave ag-gain" Tyler choked out between sobs, "I'm so s-s-sorry Auro-ra. I love y-you too." I combed my fingers through his head, trying to calm him like I would with my sister.

"It's alright, Tyler. It's alright."

And then we just sat like that. I don't know for how long, but it was a while. I just tried to calm him down, knowing that it would take a very long time, but I would honestly do anything for Tyler. He was the only real friend I ever had.

"Aurora! Come downstairs, please!" My mom yelled to me from the bottom floor of the house.

"Alright one second!" I yelled back as I ran down the stairs to see what was going on. My mother was standing in the kitchen with the phone on her shoulder.

"There's a call for you," she said quietly as she held the phone out to me.

"Hello?" I said as I took the phone from my mom.

"Hello, yes, Aurora?" A deep voice replied on the other side.

"Yeah this is her. Who is this?"

"Detective Johnson. I am calling in report of a suicide. The boy was Tyler Morrinson. Did you know him?" the deep voice man calmly said.

"I'm sorry... What? I know Tyler, he's my best friend, but what do you mean 'suicide'?" I laughed a bit out of nervousness and my stomach began to churn.

"I am sorry to report to you that your friend... Tyler... Is no longer with us. He committed suicide last night as we know from the note and evidence left behind, but we have not found his body. We are wondering if there was an accomplice to it."

I stood there, leaning against the kitchen counter, my mouth hanging open from shock.

"I-I didn't know... He hasn't told me anything... I'm sorry I need to go, bye, Mr. Johnson." I hung up the phone and immediately ran up the stairs and into my room, and began to sob into my pillow.

Hey everyone! So I actually really enjoyed writing that chapter and it only took me about an hour. I'm getting more ideas of where the story is gonna go so that's good. I might even start an update schedule for this book so I don't neglect it for half a year like last time (sorry about that) so yeah. There ya go! An update! And I'll update again by next Saturday. Bye!
