Chapter Two

Today was the day, it was finally the day Ashton and I would be returning to Australia. I was looking around the now empty bedroom, it looked so much bigger without all the furniture and posters I had. It was so strange, yet such a great feeling to be going back home. I would miss America, but Australia was always my home.

Ashton had already had almost all of the furniture shipped over seas to the new house. He still refused to show me any pictures of where we would be living, so I could not help but think of the image of it. Would it have its own studio? A balcony? There was endless possibilities.

"You have your suitcase packed?" I nodded my head as I zipped the medium sized black suitcase, it had my name all over it written in silver. We were both taking only one suitcase because he did not know when all of the furniture would arrive.

I was so excited to be going back home, I could not stop smiling as we made our way to the taxi. Ashton looked over at me and noticed the large smile visible on my face. He said nothing as he pulled open the boot and put both our suitcases inside. After he shut it we got into the yellow vehicle. The driver gave us a warm smile and began driving to our destination, the airport.

*

Getting on the plane was brutal, there was so much pushing and shoving just to get to our seats. We followed all of the orders given from the flight attendant, which I had already heard before. After we took off I took my iPod out of my pocket and began listening to 'Imagine Dragons'. This was going to be a long flight, might as well listen to an amazing band.

We finally landed, and got our bags from baggage claim.

"Are we taking a taxi?" I questioned as we walked outside of the airport.

"Yeah, we are meeting the guys at a restaurant not far from home." I nodded and started to become self conscious. What if they did not like me? Was what I was wearing okay? Was make up still okay?

"You look perfectly fine, Clara. There is no need to worry. They will love you." I smiled and nodded before we got into yet another taxi.

Ashton gave the older man the directions to the restaurant and we started our journey.

We arrived about forty minutes later and we paid the driver the right amount before grabbing our bags from the boot.

"There they are." Ashton nodded towards a black Range Rover and smiled.

The two of us walked over, the three men not noticing our presence until my brother put the bags in the boot and slammed the door shut.

"Ashton and his sister!" They shouted, engulfing us in a group hug. I ended up being in the middle making me be squished.

"Can't... Breathe." I said, and they all pulled back with small smiles on their faces.

It's finally nice to meet you, Clara!" The one with black hair, said with a large smile on his face.

"You too uh..." I trailed off, not remembering which one he was.

"Calum, and that is Luke," he said pointing to the one with blonde hair and blue eyes. "And that is Michael." He then pointed to the one with red hair.

"I like your hair."
