I decided to keep my curly hair down today and wear no makeup. "Jasmine hurry up and come down here!" Yells Chloe from downstairs. "Ok ok. I'm coming now" I say while trying to hurry as fast as I could. As I'm coming down stairs I smell... FOOD! "Finally! I cooked us breakfast" she says smiling at me while I smile back. Chloe always wakes up before me. "It looks really good bestie. Thank you!" I say as she just smiles at me while I stuff the food in my mouth. "So when do you have to get on the road" Chloe says to me looking bummed. "In a few hours. I want to be there early so she doesn't expect me at all" I say while looking at the time. "It's super sweet how your surprising your little sister for her birthday" Chloe says while she walks around the kitchen counter to sit next to me. "I know but I still don't know what to get her as a present" I say thinking of what to get her. "You'll figure it. You always do" she says while giving me a hug as I'm about to I run upstairs to pack.
CHLOE POV I've known Jasmine and her family most of my life. Jasmine loves her little sister Zoe so much. She wanted to surprise her by showing up because we've been traveling a lot and she hasn't seen her sister since she moved with me to the Bronx's. Their mother works a lot so she doesn't pay much attention to Zoe. JASMINE POV "I think I got everything packed" I say to myself as I look around my room one last time ready to go since it's a 2 hour drive. I walk downstairs as I saw Chloe standing at the door with my keys. "I'm going to miss you bestie!" She says yelling in my ear like i wasn't a feet from her. "I'm gonna miss you too but it's only gonna be for a week or so." I say as she pulls me in and squeezes the life out of me. "I know but have fun" Chloe says letting me go. I think in my head finally as she lets go. "Ok bye love you" I say while opening the door. She says it back as she's closing the door. (SKIP TO BEING THERE) JASMINE POV As I pull up to the house I just can't stop thinking about seeing my sister. I got out the car and grabbed my suitcase. I knocked on the door as I see the most shocked face ever. "Hey little sister" I say as she jumps in my arms without saying anything. As she lets go I see she's smiling really hard and that's all that matters. "Come in! We have lots to talk about." She says as she pulls my arm to drag me in her room. "So how have your summer been going" I say all excited waiting for her to answer as I sit on her bed. "It's been ok but now that you're here it's better" she says with a smile on her face. ZOE POV I haven't seen my sister for a while so when I saw her I was really excited. Besides I know she has the best gift for my birthday. We sat on my bed for hours catching up. "Sooooo...." I say while she sat confused. "Sooooo.... what" she says still looking confused at me. "What you get me for my birthday?" I say so eager. You could hear it in my voice. "I'm not telling you. That'll ruin the surprise." Jasmine says with a concentrated face. JASMINE POV I felt bad about what I was saying cuz I had no idea what to get her. Not one clue. "So when does mom come?" I say trying to change the subject. "Around 8" she says looking a bit sad about me not telling her about the gift but I knew she'd get over it. "Ok" I say laying down while looking on my phone scrolling on Instagram. Zoe turned on her tv while watching YouTube on it. I ended up going on google after Instagram to look up what I could get a teenage girl for her birthday. I give up after a couple of minutes and put my phone down when I saw Zoe smiling at what she was watching so I started watching it with her. "Whatcha watching" I say getting up to face the Tv. "The bomb Digz! They are a singing group that goes on tour all the time. They have really good songs and as you can see they are good looking too." she says with her eyes wide open and telling me their names as she points to each one of them. "Oh." I say watching them for a little more then going back on my phone. But then I got the best idea. I know what to do for her gift.
