(Y/N)'s Complete Guide to Achieving success

Rule Eight of Ten:

'Organisation and order.'

-------

It had only been about ten minutes and your legs were already numb, little goose bumps rising over your skin, breath curling in front of your eyes.

Autumn had finally come in full swing.

The trees surrounding you already coppery and brown, leaves tumbling in the breeze, drifting to the ground in little clusters.

Swaying in pretty patterns in the frozen air before they were carried away by the cold night, the cold night which was finally staring to seep into your bones, thick black trousers doing not good at keeping out the October chill.

At least the changing of the seasons did provide one thing, and that was cover.

By the shield of the long dark nights, you had time, you had less of a chance of being spotted, the perfect camouflage.

No one would be able to see you through the pitch black night, not the neighbours, not the dog walkers, not the late night strollers, but most importantly not Jotaro.

Especially when you were so close.

If even an inch of sunlight was visible, it ran the risk of him seeing you through the gaps in his blinds, if the light somehow caught on the lens of your camera, if it reflected from a strap on your bag, you were done for.

He would see you, and that would be that.

Even attempting what you were about to do, just a few weeks ago would've risked the possibility of failure, of him sighting you in plain view of his window, and that was one thing you weren't going to settle for.

You weren't going to settle for failure.

You weren't going to let something you had been working on for months to just fall apart this quickly.

Especially after you were so certain that the plan was bobbling along the right tracks, that it was steadily reaching its climax.

According to the notes in your journal there should have already been some sort of movement, a sort of spark at least, he should've been feeling something quite strongly back.

That's what you presumed anyway.

Jotaro should've made a move by now.

If you thought about it he had.

He had followed you all those weeks ago on your date with that now dead kid, Tamaki.

But you still couldn't help but feel a little bit of disappointment in your heart.

That had been a trial test of sorts, you had set that all up.

You had purposely gone out on that date, you had purposely stood outside the room where he was when announcing where you were going, you had even spoken a little too loudly just to make sure he would hear.

You had shown you face to him just so he knew completely and utterly that it was you talking, staring him down in the abandoned corridor, just to check.

And after the success of that plan you had just assumed that he start to take matters into his own hands.

But never did.
