(Y/n)'s Complete Guide To Achieving Success

Rule Three of Ten

'Jealousy is key'.

-------

Jotaro was calmly sitting on the train, eyes gazing at the passing view outside the window. His mind on a different planet, as usual.

The familiar city scape passed by in a glimpse of monochrome colour and shape, the buildings just large, deformed grey blocks, gradually springing up everywhere like weeds.

The carriage shook and rattled as it journeyed over the tracks, getting closer and closer to its destination in the concrete jungle.

Jotaro had just escaped the cramped school building, the sweaty prison cell, he was finally away from all the commotion of a student's life.

He found that not many people outside of the school saw, but school had really started to take a toll on himself and the people around him.

'The life of a stressed teen.'

Or so they called it.

All Jotaro ever saw now were dull eyes and coffee breath, as he walked into class.

Hands fumbling over stacks of books, fingers stained with ink as they tried to keep up.

Or frazzled expressions and talkative mouths. Constantly chewing on gum, a permeant stunned expression on their faces.

There was never an in between. He didn't know which one was better. But he didn't really care.

They were all the same anyway.

That's why he liked the train.

It gave him space.

A place to be alone and to think.

To just let this mind drift.

Hopefully far away from school matters and the struggles of everyday life.

But that wasn't always the case.

Today something just wouldn't leave him alone and he still couldn't get to the bottom of why.

Why and how you wouldn't leave his mind.

All Jotaro had been able to think of when he let his mind drift was you.

And he found it strange to say the least.

Maybe it was hormones? Maybe he had finally turned into one of those crazy teens? But that didn't seem quite right.

He wasn't one of those types of people, he hadn't ever really been interested in anyone.

Not in that way anyway.

Jotaro had never felt the need to be with anyone, he had never really wanted the responsibility of loving another, so it had aways stayed far out of his mind.

He saw many as ignorant and stupid, as lots of people were.

But...

But, you didn't seem like the crowd. There was something different about you.

But he just couldn't pin point what.

So Jotaro silently began checking off each feeling in his head, counting every little encounter he had had with you, maybe that would provide a solution to the roller coster of emotions he was feeling?
