Madison walked up the stairs to talk to Billy who was upstairs, on his bed with his back turned. "Billy?" Madison's calmed and soothing voice made Billy look at her and scoff. "Billy are you okay?" She asked him but he didn't answer. "Billy!" She said a little bit louder for him to hear her. "What?!" He yelled, causing Madison to flinch and back away a little.
"Madison, what the hell do you want? Do you want to act clingy like how Freddy is? Are so you want to be a retard for the rest of your life?!" Billy yelled, causing Madison to back away from him a bit more but he was coming closer to her.
"Billy y-y-your s-s-scaring me-." Madison whimpered but Billy grabbed her wrist and brought her to him before hitting her in the face.
Billy's face softened when he realized what he's done. He hit a girl. A girl who's been his best friend since they were ten. When she looked up, she had wet eyes in her eyes, breathing heavily and glaring at Billy.
"Maddie, Maddie I'm sorry-." Madison runs as fast as she cans away from Billy and left Billy in tears. Madison cried herself to sleep that night along with Billy who was doing the exact same thing.
That morning the two didn't say anything to each other except give each other glances. Maddie didn't want to tell Freddy because she was afraid of how he would react or if he would believe her.
The next morning the trio was walking to school when Billy suddenly stopped in his tracks. "I'm leaving." He said loudly enough for Freddy and Madison to hear him. "What? You can't skip school forever."
Billy didn't hear him and continued walking away from him and Madison. "Let's go Freddy." Maddie whispered to him as they entered the school.
