I let out a soft growl in my throat. I was very territorial; the one thing I hated the most was someone touching what was 'mine'. He was mine in a way; he didn't know or understand it, neither did she. Though at that exact moment I had a burning hatred for her. I- no they were lucky I had self-control or I would be on top of her in an instant ripping her throat out and soaking the lunchroom in her blood.
No one would see it coming from the quiet laid back girl who ended fights not started them. I was an alpha of a wolf tribe, I had to keep my calm in this school, and not many were 'shifters'. He was alpha of a fox tribe, and she, well she was just a mere human. I didn't realize that I was still growling, but he did. In a fast motion he stopped what he was doing and stalked over to me. He proceeded with grabbing my arm and pulling me out of the cafe. At this point I was furious; no one is ever allowed to lay a hand on me!
"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING MR. ROBINSON!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, using his real name. He let go of me knowing the small mistake he had made.
"What the fuck was that back there!" He yelled back and pinned me to the wall, another growl exploded in my chest, my eyes turning a deep ocean blue.
"That back there was nothing compared to now!" I growled at him.
He didn't say a word, all he did was grab me and drag me outside into the parking lot. We both knew what was going to happen. A moment later he exploded into a fox, it was light-tan, with black slivers, and a make-shift alpha mark - it was not a true mark. It was obvious he took the title alpha by force in his tribe; yes this was my first time seeing his fox. I grinned, he was small, and my wolf was twice his size. I then shifted into my wolf, I was a snow white wolf, with slivers of gold and blue, on my hind back leg I had the true blood-line alpha mark.
I stood about 2 or 3 feet above him, though my height did not alter his 'alpha' nature by much. We did the first natural thing that came to our minds, strike, and bite, thrash, and of course kick. The fight was going onto ten minutes, and there were crowds around the windows and doors, trying to get a peek at the fight. The whole town knew about 'shifters' and other species, but they weren’t allowed to know who you were really. Some of my pack members that were in my school were the closest ones to the doors, cheering me on in their minds. They knew that I have been waiting for this chance to fight Mr. Robinson.
I decided I would end the never-ending fight, in a quick move I pinned his fox and wrapped my jaws around his throat, letting out a deep growl. This let him know and realize that he wouldn't be able to win. From the students view, it looked as if I was killing him, but I was only scaring him. I let him free and glared at him, insisting he followed me. We stalked off into the woods as my pack mates congratulated me on my win.
We walked deep into the woods, to a waterfall that we normally have to go to after a fight. We walked into the water and shifted back into our 'human' forms. Why did we go into the water? To hide out naked bodies, when we shift, we kind of truly explode. Our beta or second in command are supposed to bring us clothing and towels to this spot an hour or so after it. This waterfall was not well known by humans, they were not allowed to go into the woods because that was 'our' territory. No one but 'shifters' and stronger kinds were allowed into the woods, this is where most fights would actually happen.
My father would not be happy that I got into a fight in a parking lot, I might have a bit of power taken away from me, but then again, it was up against an alpha fox that shifted first. Maybe I would be let off with just a warning to fight in the woods next time, not in front of human eyes. We just sat there in silence; the only sounds were the woods and the water. It was peaceful, but he looked so sad, so ashamed that he got beat by a wolf - not only just a wolf but an alpha female. That was one of the most terrible things to happen to a fox alpha. The win on my part was good; it helped me prove that I could manage the tribe without a mate.
