Sure, the awards show was great, and Joey won a big golden trophy for sponsoring the awards show, but the real fun was always the after party.

Joey held his chin high with a sly smile across his face as he held my hand confidently through the elegant dance floor. This was certainly not a club, it was something used for more mature parties like this one.He was definitely a man of charge.

And he wasn't afraid to show he was gay. If you just heard his personality, you wouldn't even know he was gay. But no one mentioned his gayness when they knew he was, because they were scared. He had this 'I could buy you and sell you' vibe about him, and everyone knew it was probably true.

We made our way to two empty chairs at the tempting and colorful bar. Joey ordered us both some fancy drink.

I sipped it and felt a shock run through me.

Shane: Woah.

Joey nodded and licked his lips.

Joey: It's my go to for big nights like this.

He held up his glass and tapped on it a couple times, grabbing everyone's attention. With a large grin plastered onto his face of different and joyous features, he began to speak.

Joey: I would like to thank everyone for showing up to this awards show, and my company and I were honored to sponsor this, and credit to all winners of any awards. To represent my company, I would also like to thank Shane Yaw, a newer, responsible , and charming assistant and representative for what my company thrives for.

Everyone clapped as I put my drink down and stood.

Joey: Have an amazing night, drinks are on the house.

Everyone clapped loudly as Joey took a seat again.

Shane: Charming?

I said with a smirk. Joey bit his lip.

Joey: Was I taking it too far?

I shook my head.

Shane: You're gonna fall for me.

Joey laughed a hearty laugh, as if he was trying to sound manly.

Joey: Please..

He chuckled and took another sip of his drink.

Joey: What time do you wanna be home?

Joey asked me and looked at his watch. It was nearly midnight.

Shane: What time do I need to be in for work?

I smirked, leaning back in my stool.

Joey sighed and rolled his eyes.

Joey: Be in there by 9am at the least, be in my office at 3pm.

I lifted one eyebrow and smirked.

Joey: Not that! Serious business stuff!

Shane: Oh...Yes sir...

I said with a serious looking face, but my eyes still smirking as I playfully elbowed him.

He just rolled his eyes again.

Joey: Wanna head back? I'm done with all the people coming up to me and asking me about my success or some shit.

Joey cursed and dusted himself off as he stood up.

Shane: Sure.

Joey grabbed my hand again and lead me to his fancy car, which he hired an escort to drive him and I to our houses.

I eventually got home and Joey walked me to my door.

Shane: What a night.

Joey put his hands in his suit jacket pocket.

Joey: It's was.

He leaned back and forth on his heals.

I backed up against my door. Joey got even closer to me and i smiled at him.

Shane: So...

I let my voice trail off.

Joey: I better head home. Nice little house you have here. It must be nice.

I rolled my eyes. He must've been kidding.

He leaned in as if he was about to kiss me.

Joey: Well, goodbye.

He turned away and I sighed, waving goodbye and walking into my house.

Almost.
