No one to turn to, the grip on shoes fade
Where's my understanding of your nobility
You knew of my faith in lack
my wandering eye missed what remained
No grass to land on,
no cushion to lay upon
With no reason to hold
I'm left wanting the untold
Could you vanish so seamlessly in the shadows of light
Possess no remorse for what you've broken in silence
A friendship like ours was meant to last all nights
Filled with our strange laughs and secrets carried to our graves
But all that's left is empty and forgotten promises
made in trust to the fall of our own ways
