Following the spiritual path is not an easy feat
It is not all love and kumbaya, there's grit in the cracks of light
Opening old wounds not patched very well before, learning to stitch them up one thread at a time
Realizing the flaws of thyself, hard to accept them as anything but perfection
Taking apart your soul is not easy at all
It makes you feel the pain of every battle wound, every critique you fed yourself
But you learn to take the storm and be grateful for the rain as it waters our plants
Build it all back together and grow new leaves every single time
At the end of each path, there will be another to take
Brave it all until you meet your fate
