Mayumi took off her eyeglasses, wiping it with her handkerchief. Kurapika glared at her, but later on couldn't keep his eyes off her. He looked at her hands that were so delicate, and soft to touch. Then he went up to her face and stayed there longer.
Kurapika thought, 'I didn't know that she could be that beautiful without her thick eyeglasses. Her angelic face makes me want to stare at her for a long time. If staring at her face is the only thing that I could do in this world, I would gladly take it. I wouldn't get used to looking at the very details of her enchanting countenance. I hope she would not take her eyeglasses back to where it belongs. I wouldn't want this moment to end.'
Mayumi felt a bit uncomfortable. She looked around and saw the reason behind it. She caught Kurapika staring at her. She immediately put back her eyeglasses and continued to read.
