To be honest. Specs was kinda jealous of Army. Both of them got injured before the ranked cup, but after their recovery, Army was welcomed back to the team. The fact that he was dating Aloha and was basically the mom of The S4 might had something to do with it too, but overall Army was doing great. Specs? Not so much.

Right now, he was watching a battle between The S4 and Team blue-per at Musselforge Fitness. The only reason he even bothered to come was because his long-time crush Goggles asked. And there's no way you can say no to this smol squid.

He saw Judd announce The S4 as the winner.

He saw both teams celebrating.

Mask and Skull were holding hands.

Army kissed Aloha on the cheek.

Bobble jumping on Headphones' back.

But all he could really focus was Rider walking over to Goggles and congratulate his team for a good game. After that, he gave Goggles a quick kiss on the lips, which made the blue squid giggle.

It really hurt Specs. You see, he was planning to confess his feelings after he recovered, but when he arrived at the square, he saw Goggles and Rider kissing each other. The smile on Goggles face when he told his team about him and Rider was too sweet. Specs didn't want to ruin Goggles happiness, so all he could do was fake a smile and try to be happy for him.

Sighing, he left Mussleforge fitness without anyone noticing, and made his way to nearby café. The one where Spyke usually sits.
