Chapter 9

(3rd Person)

As soon as the light died down, everyone expected the same scene from Beacon before... but what they weren't expecting was (Y/N) suddenly standing in front of Ruby's lifeless body, his back to everyone while his arms stayed by his side. The most amazing but terrifying thing about the scene was (Y/N)'s aura; bright silver that produced a sense of calm but at the same time it radiated something powerful, powerful enough to stop everyone, even Izzy who stayed inside was frozen on the spot, staring at the figure of (Y/N).

As Cinder went to call (Y/N), everyone watched him crouch while placing a hand on Ruby's shoulder... a few seconds passed with nothing happening before the silver aura surrounding (Y/N) infected Ruby, covering her entire body before the aura focused on the large gaping wound in her chest. Everyone watched in amazement as the silver aura closed her wound, the blood flowing back inside her body while her organs reappeared inside her body, when the aura completely healed her, Ruby's eyes shot open with her gasping for air while grasping at where the wound was before.

Ruby: W-what?

She felt her chest, only to see her wound was no longer there, her clothes didn't even have a hole in them anymore. Ruby's face contorted into confusion, before she looked up at her saviour, she smiled widely at seeing (Y/N) but immediately silenced herself. She looked up at (Y/N), fear filling her at the amount of power his silver aura was creating.

Tyrian: What happened to the idiot?

Tyrian could also feel the frightening amount of power that the aura (Y/N) had produced, finally... he stood to his feet without saying a word before slowly turning his head. Once everyone could see his eyes, they were wide-eyed at seeing (Y/N) didn't have any pupils or iris... his eyes were completely white. Tyrian looked on with slight nervousness... only to suddenly hack up saliva and blood while feeling as though he was punched in the gut multiple times.

However, to everyone's shock: (Y/N) was still right where he was, looking over his shoulder at Tyrian.

Cinder: (Y-Y/N)?

No one could form proper sentences, too afraid that (Y/N) would do something that would kill them, even though they knew (Y/N) to be a fun-loving childish idiot, they couldn't help but fear for their lives as they saw the silver aura and glowing white eyes of the boy while for the first time since anyone knew him... he actually glared at Tyrian.

As the scorpion faunus stepped forward, he jumped back in shock and surprise when his vision was filled with (Y/N). The boy was suddenly in front of him, his hands clenched into fists and raising his right hand. Tyrian took that as a threat and tried to attack with his blade... only to suddenly find the blade cut in half without (Y/N) moving his fist forward. The moment he did move his fist forward, Tyrian coughed up saliva and blood once again while feeling his ribs break, not only that, but the aura surrounding (Y/N) suddenly infected Tyrian, covering his entire body.

The moment the aura fully covered the scorpion faunus' body, he fell to his knees, only to eat a knee from (Y/N) before he was punched in the face and sent flying. Everyone was in disbelief at the sight of (Y/N)... no smile... no idiotic comment and no chaotic antic that no one else would pull off... it was almost scary seeing the calm yet furious glare on the boy's face while he did nothing but attack his opponent instead of playing around.

Ruby: (Y/N)?

The person who seemed the least affected by the sudden change was Qrow, who quickly snapped out of his daze after hearing Ruby's voice and rushed over to his niece, checking her over for any further signs of injuries. Ruby ignored her uncle as she stared at her male best friend... crush... I didn't say anything! She was definitely scared of how silent he seemed, how angry he looked... not to mention the fact that he seemed to be dealing with Tyrian effortlessly when earlier even her uncle Qrow was struggling to land a hit on him.
