Welcome to the next chapter of Kitsune no Akuryō. Sorry I'm late. I lost track of time, honest. I hope you enjoy it. Another year has passed for Kitsune as an ANBU of the ROOT. His next mission is the deadliest yet. He must perform a series of assassination to keep Konoha at peace.
Kitsune's P.O.V.
Danzo-sama has set Fukurō and I on our most dangerous mission yet. We were to squelch the espionage happening in the Hidden Leaf itself set in place by the Land of Stone. I have suspected that some of our intelligence from the Iwa-nin was false since Danzo-sama hadn't and still hasn't sent out any ninja to protect the Hidden Leaf from Iwa-nin. Apparently, there were spies in Konhagukure and the Land of Fire. I would assume that Danzo-sama has sent out different forces to take care of these spies, but there were still a few left. We were to take care of them. Obtaining information was unnecessary. We knew the process: kill and prepare for information extraction. In fact, interrogation was prohibited. It would be counter-productive since we would waste time on the interrogation while they relayed information about our village to the Hidden Stone. Torture was also out of the question. If anyone saw us or heard us, we'd be attacked for illegal aggression on Konoha citizens.
At the moment, I was wandering the streets of Konoha by myself, and, no, no one was yelling at me or running at me or throwing rocks at me. It felt so backwards not to have rocks thrown at me, and I wanted to yell at them for being so biased, but the mission came first. I was a nameless, whiskerless brunette. I began thinking in my head, "Hey, Kyubi? You can sense negative energy right?"
"I can't believe you remember that. I didn't even make that much of a point about it."
I smirked, "I'll take that as a yes then. Can it be specific negative intent? This would be go a whole lot faster if I could pinpoint people who plan ill towards the Leaf."
I heard a great sigh inside my head, "No, I can only sense negative chakra. It probably won't work in this situation. You'll be more likely to come upon an angry child than the Iwa-nin."
"It can't hurt to try."
Another sigh, in the recesses of my mind, I heard the faint, "Yes, it can."
So here I was running through the streets of Konoha minding my own business and finding myself an Iwa-nin to kill while being hidden and using the Kyubi's chakra to find him. It was rather difficult. So difficult in fact that apparently, someone had called my name ten times, and I hadn't responded. Don't ask me who it was, and don't ask me what my name was, that was what she said when she finally caught up to me. I was jerked into an alley to find myself completely off guard and face to face with a pink haired girl. I was kind of glad that I was distracted because I might have killed her if I wasn't.
Once I was still and regained my bearings, the girl went into a rant about calling my name ten times before I answered her (which I never did) and how I just kept running away from her. Then came the questions: who I was, where I was from, was I from the Hidden Leaf, was I some sort of spy? Nope, none of those questions. I mean she did want to know who I was and where I was from, but her next burning question was what was my favourite colour. After that came what I like to do in my spare time. What did I like to eat? What was my favourite restaurant?
After the onslaught of questions, I tried to wave my hands in my face to tell her to stop; I really had somewhere to be. I mean I couldn't really tell her to stop or that I needed to be off, but eventually she did stop. A short pause followed; that is only a moment, and she promptly looked at me funny as if I was the one who had pulled her off the street and asked, "What's your name?"

AdventureKitsune does not have a surname, except in really formal settings when someone is yelling at him. Kitsune is just what Danzo has called the boy since he could remember. Maybe it was because of the whiskers that marked his face that Danzo found Kitsu...
