Mixed in the Middle

Interesting Day

When we walked in I stop in my tracks. You already know who was in there. I tried running out of class but Dakota stopped me.

"Go!" She says pushing me. We head to our seats in the back of class. I just stared at him for a little.

"I know you are staring at me." I get startled by his sexy deep young voice. I roll my eyes. "My name is Luca." He turns around. "You must be the 4 states everyone is talking about. So whats yall names. I already know they are states so I have to know what people mean by it." His eyes look at mine and my soul just melts.  Dakota bumps me.

"Dakota."

"Illinois."

"Alaska and this is my twin brother Alabama."

"Its Axel." I say pushing her.

He giggles a little. "I like Alabama better."

Alaska pushes me. "I told you."

"So you guys are the 4 states. Cool. Why are you guys here so early anyways? You know class doesn't start until like for another 18 minutes right?"

"Why are you so early?" I ask putting my head on my desk. Alaska hits me. "Dumbass." I say under my breath.

"I am guessing you are the cute one." He giggles. I put my head back on my desk and I could feel my face warm up. Dakota could tell how embarrassing I was feeling so she took over the talking most of the time we was their until class started.

The bell rings and we see everyone come inside the classroom. I take out my books and notebooks. I could feel my body rest and calm down and not worry about Luca. Even though he was cute and sweet. Nevermind that! After class we went to our next class. Luca just trailing after us. We always head to class early so we can talk. You guys already know that but anyways we go in the class and sit down in our desk at the back of the class.

Luca sitting in front of us. We continue to talk but I am more focused on Luca. "I know you are staring at me." He says as he turns around. I try playing it off but he noticed anyways.

"Shut up." I say continuing talking to my friends.

Class starts and I get out my notes for today. Luca turns around and looks at me then my friends. "Anyone got notes?" He says mostly looking at me.

"Here." Dakota always been the nice one. I roll my eyes. "You better give it back!" She says handing him the notes. He turns back around. By the look on his face. I am guessing he wanted me to give him my notes but I rather not.

After class Luca hands back Dakotas notes and a note of his own. I look at her then at the paper. Shes gonna tell us what it says anyways. So I just waited till she did.

"Guys! Luca wants us to sit with him for lunch!" Dakota says slamming her locker.

Alaska jumps around. "Ooo he probably likes you Alabama!" I roll my eyes and head to the next class.

We didn't go early because Ms. Cameron's class was simple and we didn't need much to talk about. Luca wasn't in the class. Lucky. But it doesn't matter. I don't like him. I am glad he isn't in the class. I started to stare off into space and not be aware of things around me.

"Alabama!" Alaska screams.

I get scared and jumped out my seat and fell down on the floor. I could feel everyone looking at me. I just layed there for a while.

"Axel can you please get up." Ms. Cameron says looking down at me like everyone else was.

Everyone was staring at me and whispering. I felt so embarrassed whenever a teacher talks to me, because thats when everyone is finally paying attention in class and it is annoying.
